The 1 person that JR Ewing would not take on under any circumstances was "The Old Man." I know that it was just a movie but you can tell that he is one crusty old bird.
i watched this epesode on tubi the other day and noticed a few things wrong... the guys were downtown talking to aunt bee they would put the camera on andy... behind him there was a building and on the window it said bar... that county was supossed to be dry.... if thats the case why is there a bar in the town of mayberry?? HAHA
I can tell that Jim Davis was very sick at this point and was toughening it out. He was dedicated to his craft. If anyone wants to see more of him, they can check him out on some Death Valley Days episodes. He appeared in "Little Washington", "Three Minutes to Eternity", "The Oldest Law" & several other episodes.
Bobby's facial expressions were gold! At first his look was menacing when he thought JR was the one to confront. When Jock intercepted his gaze was completely deflated
I loved Jim Davis as Jock Ewing. He was fabulous! The show was still very entertaining but never quite as good after he died. I hated Clayton Farlow. He couldn't come close to the impact that Jock Ewing had on those boys.
