that's a neat snowblower, that is purity snow in the trees. can't believe the cat tolerated the ride, those children are always smiling and it makes me smile watching them
Wow!! What an abundant harvest of potatoes!! I am so happy for you!🎉 thanks for sharing this- makes me extra excited about harvesting from my little fall garden in Florida😊 we’ll see how this goes!
Yes! I saw upper 20's yesterday morning and again this morning. I'm looking forward to winter, but we still have a lot of stuff to do before it snows. 😬
That was a crazy, long, frustrating drive, and I wasn't even there with you guys! Fuel filters get neglected way too often, wish I could have suggested it when you started losing power. Anyway, glad you made it safely! I bet (hope) that ferry ride was a welcome relaxing time. I'm a new subscriber, and will be moving to Alaska in 2024, though my journey will take me through Canada. I'm glad you didn't run into any issues with your wireless hole puncher. God Bless. -Dusty
Thank you! Yes, it was quite a trip. Congratulations on moving up here! It's a great state. We're actually headed south in a couple weeks to bring up our other truck and trailer, and this time we'll be going through Canada, so we will get to see that version of the journey too. Hope all goes well with your move!
I always do it by hand, but there are tools designed to remove bark from logs. I think a drawknife would work, but I've never used one, so I'm not sure.
More mouths to feed and water! They are very cute, they look like they'll grow up to be healthy and strong. I hope you have your well running, driving to haul water in those jugs is time-consuming and a lot of work! Did you ever post the last leg of your trip where you took the ferry? Wishing the best for all of you...
Thank you! The well is almost running. We had it working for one evening, then discovered that the jet pump was cracked. (The crack only became visible when the pump was turned on and under strain from pumping water.) So we had to buy a new pump, and now we just need to install it. Last legs of the trip are in the works. As you can tell, I'm not the quickest video editor, even though my editing is so minor. I hope to have it up soon.
LOL, at 14:18 "The question is can I remind you that I'm a good mechanic when I want to buy more tools." Tools are mandatory so they're always a justified expense. That's what I tell my wife, "I'm only buying the essentials.". But it's amazing how many things seem to be essential... Alayna is right, you are all blessed that you're a good mechanic. And smart enough to have had that fuel filter with you! Glad to see those new, heavy duty tires have been holding up. Your first leg with the tire problems was crazy.
I'm envious of you having birch bark, what a great fire starter! Here in Ocala, Florida we don't have any birch, as you know. And that wood stove is an excellent stove. It looks like a Vermont Castings wood stove. My friend has one at his home in Arkansas, a great and efficient wood burner. Stay warm!
Subscribed!!! Such a blessing to be a blessing. Amen 🙏🏾. Also great to see a young married couple serving our Lord Jesus Christ and stepping out on faith.
It’s come along well in the timeframe. Keep pushing forward. May God bless you all and y’all’s home including every project that needs to be done in Jesus’s name. Amen 🙏🏾.
Tribulation worketh patience Romans 5:3😊 I’m so impressed with the patience you both displayed during the tires episode! Also not a peep from baby or barking from dogs! Glory to God, shining through you both❣️
