I always use a hair blow dryer to defrost my freezer, just aim it where the ice is thickest and soon it just slides down. I pick itup and throw in a container and then into the sink to melt. A quick wash off and dry with a towel and i am done.
You are truly an amazing mom. Do not let others make you feel bad about any short cuts we need to take to make life easier, doable, etc!! Great content!!
Ok, let's be honest. I purchased this product a while ago, and we'll it hardly works and breaks down consistently. It impossible to get it fixed and will it's such a hassle it will end up taking up so much time and energy you will lose massive amounts of money. We spent 5 grand for the medium with the oiless pump and them purchased trays and sealers amd etc. Did a cost comparison, and it is way cheaper to buy dried food from the store. What a horrible product and horrible service.
You can… but it will ferment into alcohol. When dosing you give less than 5ml. Use a dropper and you can give 15-30 drops in some water for your children.
If you are still doing low histimine, I was watching Hopewell Heights. She had some kind of autoimmune flare up. She does a short cook for her broth/stock because that way it is low histimine. She said the long cook is high histimine. I never heard that before.
I’ve heard that as well. My histamines were so high I was reacting to everything. I’ll have to share a health vlog with pictures- some days I looked grotesque from hives or my eyes swelling shut… I feel like I have it under control since eliminating so many foods 4 years ago. I’m careful, but my family eats freely.
We Have Been Costco (Price Club)since our Daughter was born 1983 .. We have learned lots of things,, We are now Retired and we STILL do 90 % of our shopping there … We Date Everything With A Purchase Date and then an Open date.. A quick tip as you cut your chicken / meat package apart stack them back into the Double plastic meat bags tape close and Date the bags .. Helps keep organized…
It wrecked me!! I vomited 10 days straight and was hospitalized with pancreatitis and low potassium. I was scared to eat anything for a while. I’m still on a very limited Whole Foods diet and I feel it when I cheat.
@@RowesRising PLEASE share more about your autoimmune issues. I too suffer with many of the same issues, I like to see how others are tackling the problem and maybe I can learn something new from them! Diet is super duper tricky for me, everything seems to set off a flare😩
@firstlast-js5yw diet is huge! Whole foods, produce over processed!! I will share more. I’ve been pretty sick and pushing through to my detriment. Not sure I’m the best example of managing autoimmune health😅
Funny you said about the shredded cheese. I'm actually surprised at how much processed food you buy. I find myself walking around aimlessly at the store these days because we don't buy much of anything there anymore. I even stopped drinking coffee since so much of it is basically toxic. Ugh. It's rough out there these days.
I agree and I’m surprised too! I used to be so strict and food really stressed me out. Since having baby 5 and homeschooling all the kids- I’ve been in survival mode. I’m sure I will get back to my unprocessed ways- but we are so slammed busy right now- I’m cutting corners. Thankful my kids first foods were liver and egg yolks- they have a good nutritional foundation. 🌻🌻🌻😅
@@RowesRising I hear you. I just had baby # 5 as well. We homeschool too. And 3 out of 5 play sports. Oof. We are in the thick of football / fall baseball season. I've been trying to get into using my crockpot more and save us from scrambling for a meal at 8pm.
@mamasherbalkitchen9045 I used to be a stickler about making everything from scratch. I realized- I have zero support system- no one to split tasks with- no tribe- so I’m okay with using some processed foods in moderation to help me. Grace. I’m giving me grace.

Stay away from these company. I had 28 of there machines and 23 of them I had to fix. The only good machine are the old ones from Gen 1 to Gen 3 are worth buying. The new ones break, custom service sucks, and at that point it’s easier to buy a new machine (that will break again) than fix your broken machine. That’s there new business model, why sell you a machine that will last a life time while I can sell you one that will only last 6 months if that. Good luck if you buy these machines. I sold my machine and I’m going to try stay fresh
Something is fishy with this comment. You must work for Stay Fresh? I already had one of their machines…. I chose harvest right over stay fresh after using both. Good luck with your freeze drying adventures! After a year my Harvest Right is still kicking. I will say the Stay Fresh is a good machine too! It has more head space to freeze dry candy.

@bea3man205 it’s quieter and more efficient. Not as many bugs in the technology. For example I freeze dried colostrum in the SF and it exploded everywhere when it went to vacuum before the colostrum was frozen and that’s after adjusting the vacuum trigger temp. That’s just one instance. May have been user error. SF is much louder. Plus, It was a China ran company that stole technology from HR that really got me to switch. Both companies have China manufactured parts but one is literally run by China and I’m not trying to sellout to Chinese business owners😅

Thank u i needed this just had my 7th baby and he has terrible silent reflux signs so im trying to cut all dairy again something that i found to work before and these recipes look yummy 😊
Dairy is the biggest trigger and it’s hidden in so many processed foods. Remember whole produce trumps processed anything!! I ate lots of avocados for the extra fat we need to sustain breastfeeding, eggs, rice, chicken, veg, fruits, and nuts-simple whole food ingredients. I wish you the best of luck in finding relief for baby and rest for you!!🌻🌻🌻
Beautiful day for an outing. Have picked a lot of blackberries in So. Oregon, but never have seen Huckleberries. Your hand pies turned out great. We love taking a picnic into the woods here in So. Utah.
How do you like your Yeti cooler? Does it keep ice and items cold as long as they claim🤔 I’m looking to upgrade our cooler and wonder if it’s worth the investment 😊
Yes it does really well! I keep an ice block in it on rotation so it’s always in the car and always cold (old plastic ice cream containers filled with water) We have taken a larger one camping in the heat of summer and our food was cold/frozen all week. I think there are much more economical brands on the market now with the same chill technology. We got this one at a steep discount through a program my husband has access to- otherwise we would have bought a knockoff. 🌻🌻🌻
For all the comments about using a fire, that's hit or miss. I have Griswold's that go back to the 19th century, many handed down through family, but doing pre-1840 Rendezvous, I also pickup Griswold's people are selling. A really rusty one (no pitting), a fire won't do a thing and won't always get buildup. It already needs to be reseasoned, so I do it the easy way - A circular wire brush attachment for my drill. Pull the trigger and it strips the thickest rust right off with no harm done to the CI. It's more hands on and uses more of your time than dropping it into water for days at a time, but if you lack the patience to wait, you can do it all in the same day.

@@RowesRising when I was itty bitty like you, I'd eat and look like i was 4 months pregnant, so people would always ask. I have cysts too and i use to double up in pain when i was ovulating. I use to take TRS and that must have helped the cysts because i no longer get that pain. Now I'm just battling perimenopause and the horror that wreaks on a women's system. I actually thought my last pregnancy was me starting menopause. Lmao Anyways, I am glad to see you have a food baby. Or mom pouch
@minnamae25 I should try TRS. I’ve been doing castor oil packs to try and shrink it. They wanted to operate- no thanks!! I’ll keep my cysts for now and try other means first.
@@RowesRising TRS is very expensive now. Look into other ways. TRS is actually just zeolite. Heavy metal detox was the best thing i did for me and our family. With this spraying and environment, we definitely needed it. It also helped my allergies and my son doesn't get as many migraines. I have noticed this year that my allergies are starting to act up, and my son started getting bloody noses and headaches again, so I'm probably gonna order some zeolite this time. It's a little bit more affordable than TRS.
