Good version of this - one of Zappa's best. No big names, nobody you'd have heard of; just a bunch of music-school guys with love for Frank in their hearts and enough time to practice and get some very hard music pretty solid.
I just watched someone do pattons lines and treys lead guitar at the same time. On one of the most challenging bungle songs. And pull it off. But ed sheeren plays three chords and the masses call him a genius.
Agreed. Trey deserves more credit as a guitarist, and, well, Patton is Patton. I'd never dream of attempting to combine their parts live. He did a decent job of it, considering how many different vocal styles are used in the song. I'd die happy if I never had to hear Ed Sheeran again. Unfortunately, my wife is a fan...
So good! You guys are really good. Just one thing.... ah... well... some more percussion, the likes of Ruth Underwood would make this perfect. Thank you all, made my day! Still have the original vinyl of Roxy & Elsewhere.
One of the most unusual cover for the song. The improvisation from 2:10 adds more jazz effect for this song and it sounds very cool. I love such experiments.
@@StrangeChangesBand Oh, congrats for your children! Anyway, good to hear you guys are not dead forever lol. Just meet you guys from that Bungle cover and i would love to hear more Bungle from you haha. Cheers from Brazil!
