This channel is to share the result of my passion, singing.
In the 2013/2014 episode of the The Voice Kids The Netherlands I made it to the finals. You can find links to the songs on my website: www.isabelprovoost.nl
I hope you enjoy it, don't hesitate to leave a remark!
I'm think her phrasing is terrible. She's taking breaths in places where they shouldn't be. I agree her voice has a nice timbre, but she would benefit from some vocal coaching from a classically trained musician.
Mine eyes have seen the glory of the coming of the Lord; He is trampling out the vintage where the grapes of wrath are stored; He hath loosed the fateful lightning of his terrible swift sword: His truth is marching on. Refrain: Glory! Glory! Hallelujah! Glory! Glory! Hallelujah! Glory! Glory! Hallelujah! His truth is marching on. 2 I have seen him in the watch-fires of a hundred circling camps; They have builded him an altar in the evening dews and damps; I can read the righteous sentence by the dim and flaring lamps; His day is marching on. [Refrain] 3 He has sounded forth the trumpet that shall never call retreat; He is sifting out the hearts of all before his judgment seat; O be swift, my soul, to answer him; be jubilant, my feet! Our God is marching on. [Refrain] 4 In the beauty of the lilies Christ was born across the sea, With a glory in his bosom that transfigures you and me; As he died to make us holy, let us die that all be free! While God is marching on. [Refrain]

Glory, glory, hallelujah! Glory, glory, hallelujah! Glory, glory, hallelujah! His day is marching on I have read a fiery gospel writ in burnished rows of steel "As ye deal with my contemners, so with you my grace shall deal" Let the Hero, born of woman, crush the serpent with his heel Since God is marching on Glory, glory, hallelujah! Glory, glory, hallelujah! Glory, glory, hallelujah! Since God is marching on He has sounded forth the trumpet that shall never call retreat He is sifting out the hearts of men before His judgment-seat Oh, be swift, my soul, to answer Him! First heard her cover of Beneath Your Beautiful years ago just randomly. Still one of my favorites. And now seeing her this grown up I feel so old. 😆 Loving her matured voice btw.
In the US, we have a national anthem, called the star spangled banner. The battle hymn of the republic is our national hymn. We fought a Civil War over the question of slavery, which was legal in our constitution for 80 years. Our Civil War cost 750,000 dead Americans from both sides. This was more than all of the other wars combined. …toward a more perfect union… (We’re not there yet, but we’re headed in the right direction.)
Greeting from Washington DC where this song makes us very emotional, it’s from the Civil War when we (the North) defeated the South and slavery. Good defeated evil. Ik heb trouwens elf jaar in Nederland gewoond en was zeer verbaasd om zo’n prachtige versie te horen gezongen door een Nederlandse ❤
