Don’t go much on xd falcon’s or xe falcons but I’m in love with the ZC Fairlane that’s a beautiful car indeed.. my favourite model is the xh falcon ute as ford got it together with the E series falcons the bumper bars didn’t fall off like xd did and e series put a proper front end in them k frame and rack power steering.. and way better front suspension than the older models xds were bad for hitting a cattle grids at 80ks a hour and they’d lose the wheel alignment bad as the bottom control arms would come loose and then they would chew out the inside of the front tyres my old man’s XD Windsor v8 Ute was a cool ride but watching him mig weld the bottom control arm adjustment washers and bolts to the cross member I’ll never forget as a kid so he could drive it on rough dirt roads in the bush and not loose the front wheel alignment bad designed by Ford 😂😂😂😂
Fantastic! I'll never forget the great times as a teen & young adult owning a Track Pack back in the mid to late 80's in Brisbane. It had a special rare touch for back then that mates will never forget ;)
The customer wanted to use them, and much to our surprise they worked quite well. Tubular headers would have to be custom made to fit with this intake, and would most likely help it crack 300hp.
@@GlennEverittMasterofMachines hey still a cool motor ! Didn’t mean to sound like I was knocking the build . I am building mine around 12:5:1 compression. Hopefully I can get to 270-300 somewhere in there. I would be happy
I recently bought the limited edition book about Moff's Mustang. It came with the original logbook from when Allan took delivery in the States. I treasure this book. Amazing car. Amazing man.
All phase 4 engines had 2 bolt mains with 4 bolts used for racing must have been inside job. Ford Australia must of only got very few 4 bolts blocks as they were thin on the ground in USA . FORD USED NASCAR BLOCKS IN XB /XC AS THE RULES CHANGED FOR RACING.
Question, I see all these different cubic inch motors, why don't you try the 400 ford, I know everyone hates it but, I've had one for years , a cam intàke , carb, really wokeitup. Anyway why not using the 400, it's already stroked?
I had a 1967 pale yellow Cuda convertible with the 225 six , which I loved . So many people would pull up beside me and want to race . And when I tried to tell them it was a six cylinder some could not believe it
