As a general rule, if a video is recorded from a game, and it's been more then 12 hours or so since it was uploaded, I don't have the original. Sorry. I'm more then happy to explain how to capture your own, though, if you need help in this regard.
I genuinely believe even if Raziel killed Kain here, he would have continued down the path we take through the game. Maybe Raziel's motivations would have been altered and maybe his jaunt to the future would have been skipped. But in the end Raziel still needed to go back in time, open the path to Janos' sanctuary, slay his humen bretheren, and then be trapped in the Reaver. That point in history was when the Reaver became the Soul Reaver, Janos' heart was carved out, and Malek failed to defend the other Guardians from Vorador's swift retaliation. Don't forget Moebius left that abandoned Time Streaming Chamber in the swamp preset to take Raziel to the past. It was Kain's presence in the past, pulling the sword from Raziel at the key moment of paradox, that truley started the new course in full. The edge of the coin. Moebius and Kain were both good and pushing Raziel. Constantly bludgeoning him with predestiny and fate, provoking him to champion freewill. Thus they could simply say, "Kill him" or "do that" and he does the opposite, believing that doing so is his own freewill and not just simple reverse psychology making him do what they want after all.
Kain speaks in paradoxes this whole scene. “You can’t comprehend and yet you must”. He is trying to introduce a fatal paradox to unhinge history itself. Kain is a great antagonist who has to contend with destiny and has no other choice but to come out on top
Raziel had such a funny existence. First hes a tool of the Sarafan, dies, and is resurrected as a vampire to be a tool for Kain. Dies again, and is resurrected as a wraith to be a tool for the Elder God. Travels time to kill himself, then travels time again to kill himself, again, so he can go back to being a tool for Kain so he can find a way to restore the pillars and remain an asshole simultaneously.
Video games fell to the same fate as the internet. Once the corporate overlords realized it had the potential for mass appeal, it lost all intelligence and nuance. No modern video game would even presume to attempt a plot, or protagonist motivation this complex.
Honestly, I can only hope they remake this series while keeping the original voice acting too, but making new games? I trust no one except the original team to write this
Could it be that the version of Raziel trapped into the Soul Reaver was so hellbent on destroying Kain that it gained a will of its own and tried to kill him?
The events in this series are all connected with some future and past ones happening at the same time, for example when a Younger Kain refuses the sacrifice and condens the pillars to decay, a Elder Kain was purified by Raziel's actions finally allowing him to fulfill his role as balance guardian, this is peak writing.
Rewatching this scene I know now what Kain has to do. He has to find new Guardians and turn them. How he does this I don't know. Maybe the whole point of having Raziel enter the Reaver wasn't just to purify him, but to restore the pillars (because the last bit of corruptions has been washed away) therefore, allowing for the pillars to be reforged. That, or they have to come up with a new thing that fixes the mess that was caused by all this. THe other theory I have is that because Raziel and the Reaver are one, there are technically two reavers in Kain's hand at all times now. Which should mean he can go back in time, and turn the Circle of Nine into Vampires before Ariel is killed. I'm not entirely certain how that would play out because then Kain shouldn't be the Balance Guardian if Ariel is still alive, but maybe the Scion of Balance is a whole different job, and history will flow onto a new path where they can coexist. I don't know.
I love that after all this, Kain is saying "We" and calling out the "Elder God" for what he is. An imposter. He doesn't hesitate in solidifying his new found goal of destroying it and the monument of regret he had built for millennia. Kain is determined to bring his friend down on the heads of those that would destroy Nosgoth and get in the way of their quest to fix it. I love this series.
I think the Girl in Red is the most dangerous of the Wolves, the most cunning, since she's the one who laughs whenever you don't play the game how it's supposed to be played. I think she's the one who sends the girls to meet the wolves, in the hopes of transforming them. Now the question is, what's the ultimate goal ? Pure sadism ? Revenge against Grandma, their forceful pack leader ? Because I have this theory Grandma is the Fairy/Witch who cursed the Girl in White during her times as "The Sleeping Beauty" (instead of the girl herself, it were her senses that were asleep, so she could be aware she would be taken advantage of by the corrupt princes), resulting in the Girl creating this split personality that manifested in the Woods, infiltrating among the wolf pack.
The Girl in White - the laugher heard during her scenario is the Girl in Red. So my theory, is that the same way she turns herself into butterflies, the Girl in Red turned Rose's lifeless body into flowers, spreading them across the places most meaningful to the Sisters during their journies, essentially, taking Rose to where her sisters were, in spirit. The Girl in White, having been a victim of abuse herself, is unable to accept this, and sets out to undo this transformation. She takes the Flowers that used to be Rose's body, now connected to all sisters' spirits, and takes them to Grandma's house, where we discover that to survive her own wolf in her youth, Grandma had to become someone else's wolf. The Girl in White's Wolf, which made Grandma, the pack's leader. The Girl in White takes the Flowers to Grandma, in the hopes to appeal to her humanity. Instead, the Girl in White is forced to kill the Grandma. The magical blood, mixed with the Flowers, rebuilt the girls' bodies, but now, they were wolves too, essentially, bringing them back to where they started, because now they had no choice but to satisfy their urges against others in order to keep themselves alive.
I know she has pictures of all her grandaughters, but if I had to wager who the grandma's favorites were, I'd say those are Rose, Ruby and Carmen, the middle kids who lay in bed beside her (yes, Ginger touches her while sitting, but it feels kinda possessive, almost as if she's craving for her grandmother's affection while looking at the player, silently telling us to back off).
Man I always loved this scene. Despite all the pain and torment humans have caused Janos, he still speaks of them like a loving father who just can't get through to his kids. I tend to forget just how much of a benevolent role the vampires played in Nosgoth till the Hylden struck them with the blood thirst
Oh, please, his vampires saw humans as prey and as blood bags. He later admits that the Hylden turned Vampires into 'Predators Upon Mankind'. Vampires have been shown to be bestial, cruel and corrupt just as much as humans, in some ways moreso. I don't see it as the humans' fault. His people, the vampires, started this. I see Vampires as having been like Vorador: A worthless, bloodthirsty beast. Just the fact that Janos sired Vorador is a crime. In fact Janos' crimes against humanity are so many that I agree with Sarafan Raziel: he died too quickly.

Vampires didn't even start fighting back against them till Vorador killed the Circle of Nine, and he did that because he literally watched the Sarafan wipe out his entire family during the Vampire Purge. Humans were manipulated by the Elder God to turn against the original blue race of Vampires and start killing them. Mobius and Malik were literally two of the balance guardians when they killed the rest of the Vampire guardians. The original blue race of vampires refused to give in to the blood thirst. All three games point this out that they were driven mad from the curse and started commiting mass suicide, which caused Janos to create Vampires from humans (Vorador's race of vampires), who were than hunted to extinction by the Sarafan. It's absolutely WILD that you called Vorador a monster but not the people that literally killed and burned his daughters in front of him

I keep asking myself when Kain and Raziel went into the past in Soul Reaver 1. What actually happens to the Elder God and the rest of the vampires? Did the Elder God win in Soul Reaver 1 when the two went into the past? Did Kain actually know when he let Raziel fall into the abyss that the Elder God was down there and awakened Raziel? Because in Legacy of Kain Defanice, Kain didn't even know the Elder God when he fought him in the finale? What actually happens when Kain defeats the Elder God? Does the story actually continue from Legacy of Kain Defanice to Soul Reaver or from Blood Omen 2 to Soul Reaver? Because in Blood Omen 2, Kain didn't even know Raziel or the Elder God. Too many questions?🤔🤔

Time travel in LoK is (as far as we can tell) set up such that when someone goes back in time, they stop existing in the time they *left from*, and start existing in the time they *arrived at*. If there were already versions of them in that timeline, there are now two. Nothing else is affected, so the from the Elder God and the rest of the vampires' perspective, Kain and Raziel just disappeared without a trace; that timeline continued on.

"Win" is a weird word for it; they went into the past and changed history, so really, from the Elder God's perspective, the events that happened in the past had always happened, from that moment. There's no evidence (that I've seen) that LoK subscribes to the 'many universes' time travel theory (where time traveling would put them in an alternate universe, and anything they do affects that universe, but their original universe continues on as it was). Kain describes the timeline shifting to account for the changes they make, which suggests it's one timeline and their changes propagate forwards through time.

By my understanding, Kain knew what the *outcome* would be (that if he threw Raziel into the abyss, it would lead to a series of events where the pillars could be restored, for instance), but not the exact turn of events that would lead there. He didn't know about the Elder God (as you note, he sees him for the first time in Defiance), but he was acting with the foreknowledge that he'd gained from Moebius' time streaming chamber.

LoK: Blood Omen 2 occurs after the events of Defiance, so if you want to consider those events, you could say that that game is what happens after Kain defeats the Elder God. LoK:BO2 wasn't written by Amy Hennig, though (and has some continuity problems of its own), so whether you want to consider it or not is kind of up to you.

The proper order of events are Blood Omen 1 -> Soul Reaver -> Soul Reaver 2 -> Defiance -> Blood Omen 2. That isn't chronological order on the final timeline, but rather, Kain at the start of SR1 is the kain from the end of BO1; Raziel from SR2 is the Raziel from the end of SR1, etc. - that order follows the storyline (including all of the time-hopping) from the perspective of the protagonists.
