you did a really nice job with not only the video, but also explaining everything you did, so im just gunna drop a like and give you a sub. keep up the good work!
It's the Bernetti 9 + silencer. The damage is disgustingly low (it takes more than an entire clip to kill a heavy swat if all shots are headshots), but when used during the stealth phase it doesn't matter (every weapon / hit is a 1 shot kill regardless of damage), and it's the lowest visibility pistol configuration I've found.
Yeah, I agree, I'm not sure why they did that. It makes sense, in a way - the helicopter would definitely raise the alarm. It's possible that if you have all of the intel from day 1, it changes something, I don't know - I've never gotten all of it.
The primary is the CAR-4. It has the Short Barrel (barrel), Aftermarket Special (foregrip), Vintage (magazine), Surgeon Sight (sight), and Folding Stock (stock). It's the most concealable primary weapon I've discovered how to make, and it has a pretty reasonable stopping power and mobility, making it a really good choice (in my opinion) for stealth jobs, regardless of whether you're going to be using it or if it's just a slot filler.
Killing them all does not let you avoid the assault at the end. You can have every camera disabled and every guard dead, and you still get that wave. Some folks have said that having the airplane keys lets you avoid it, but this is inaccurate - you still have to call the helicopter and wait for them to test the engine before you're allowed to leave. Killing them all (in my experience) takes longer to wait for them to get into position than just sneaking does.
I've got smooth talker, but it's unnecessary to kill them all (as this video demonstrates), and because of all the glass in the house, it's actually easier not to, if you don't want to wait around for them to move into a position that you can kill them in without getting seen.
I believe there's only 5 guards. It should be possible to take them all out, but the layout of the map makes it a pain to do so, unless you're willing to wait a long time for them to wander outside. The floorplan is pretty open and there's a ton of glass, so sometimes it's difficult to take them out without getting seen. Note that even if you take them all out, though, you still get police when the helicopter arrives.
I'm not sure if you are colourblind, or were just mistaken, but your annotation says that the hoses are on the green tank, when they are blue. But aside from that, great guide, loved it.
Well, if You get intels you can pick up the keys for this plane, so you dont have to wait for the escape helicopter but you can just fly away with the plane that is standing nearby.
I agree, they seriously need to up the rewards on this job, especially on OK difficulty. It's way too hard for what you get from it. Plus, you'd think a fucking fusion reactor, which by stealing we're basically fucking over the world, would be worth more than pocket change. :P
It's not possible, to my knowledge, to do this completely in stealth. Even if every guard in the house is dead, the alarm is still raised when the chopper arrives.
Keep in mind this was on Hard, the easiest difficulty the job is available on, but even on Overkill the payout is very small for the effort required, especially given the rarity of the job itself.
In Steam, click Payday 2, then click Community Guides (on the right side), then click on any of the guides for this heist (there's a lot of them now, it looks like) - these are generally the easiest way to get an in-depth explanation of what to do. I could try to explain it, but with the comment character limit, and inability to post links (for pictures), it wouldn't really help you. :(
The wave at the end is going to come regardless of how you go about it. Furthermore, there's 5 guards and even with the Smooth Talker skill, you can only answer 4 pagers before cops are sent out. It would be impossible to kill all of the guards and remain in stealth.
Wolf has some of the more entertaining ones, in my opinion. "Uh, you mean to tell me... these pagers... aren't waterproof? I was, uh... conducting some... experiments... in that area... of... things." The random responses from the guy on the other end are sometimes great, too. Wolf says something completely ludicrous, and he responds with, "Right, right... that makes sense."
You can kill 4, then make the 5th surrender with Dominator. But that said, it doesn't make the run any easier (it's as easy to avoid them as it is to wait for them to get into position where you can take them down).
I always make them all surrender, the only time I kill one is every once and awhile one doesn't want to listen and I'm left without a choice lol. That's just my play style, though, your way is just as good.
When you see a guard, why/how do you do that point thing? And also are there skills you need to make the guards surrender because I have a skill that increases my threat but guards won't surrender to me (and we're talking 55 threat on a pistol)
The point animation is just marking out the guard - it's your 'use' key. It outlines them in red, and you (and your team) can see the outline even if they go out of your view (so through walls). It ensures that you don't lose sight of the guard before you deal with him. You can make them surrender using the Mastermind skill 'Dominator'. Lower tier enemies (like rentacops or private security) are very easy to dominate, though there's usually 1 on each map that will resist no matter what (not sure if this is an actual thing, or just a trick of perception, but it certainly feels like it's the case), so waiting till the last one on the map to use Dominator is generally a bad idea.
Is it impossible to make completely stealth? I made it with my friend on overkill and when the chopper comes, the police is called... and it's so bad paid... doesn't worth it.
Didn't find any of the intel, actually - but even so, you have a 33% chance to guess correctly the first time on any given run, and even if you miss the first one, you've got a second ECM jammer, and half the time, the metal screen is lifted from the window in front enough that you can see into that room (and see if it's the one). So I always go for the one shown first, and if that's not it, check the window from the outside. If it's down, you have a 50/50 shot, and if it's up, you immediately know which one it is. Overall, you get about an 85% chance per run, with no intel, to get the right room with one of your two ECMs. If you have the keycard, you can hit it 100% of the time.
It's the Bernetti, yes. The damage is horrible (a full clip won't kill one of the light swat guys), but it's very concealable, and if they haven't seen you yet, it only takes 1 shot (from any weapon) to kill anyone. A solid option for stealth runs, but if it goes south, it's not going to be much help.
