This is an awesome tool~ Makes meetings more engaging, used it for our online Christmas party and everyone had a great time with the games I picked through the tools.
Absolutely! We're using the playlist called Workshop Power Tracks! You can find it in the Butter template gallery here: templates.butter.us/template/workshop-power-tracks! Hope this helps :)
Awesome to hear you enjoyed the session and that you're excited to start playing around with Butter! If you end up creating some awesome hip hop playlists for your sessions, please share them so we can publish to the rest of the Butter community in the Butter Template Gallery (butter.us/templates)👏
Awesome to hear that you share this conviction! This is one of the core beliefs on which we're building Butter as well. Hope to see you for a future mixer or on Butter yourself!
Hey Noah, If you want automatic access to recaps from sessions you attend, you will need a Butter account. If you don't have one, the owner of the session is able to share a link to the recap from the session. Hope this helps!
Hey! At the moment there is not a way to download the agenda. We've been looking at ways to make agendas exportable, but would love to hear a bit more about the use case you have in mind though!
@@cholmhansen I teach English lessons, online and in person. I’d like to be able to create a lesson plan once and be able to use it in both spaces. Right now I must create it outside of Butter and transform it into an agenda. If agendas were downloadable, I could create lesson plans within Butter for use with online students as well as my local ones.
What should I do if I want to present my Google Slides presentation during a Butter call? The Slideshow button inside of the Google Slides window doesn't work.
Hey Violet! Thanks for your question! Currently, the API is built (by Google) to enable collaboration in Google Slides, which also means that it isn't possible to use the integration for presenting. The best suggestion for presenting Google slides is using the Butter Slide tool and upload the presentation as a PDF or simply sharing your screen. Hope this helps!
@@Butter_HQ thank you for your reply! If I may ask about my particular situation - I would like to present during a group call and have certain portions of the presentation be interactive, with participants separating into breakout groups and then coming back to present their ideas. My current solution for this is using a Miro board inside Butter - using the present tool in Miro to have everyone follow my frames (slides), then break them out into groups with that same Miro board for them to write on, then when the breakout session ends everyone comes back to main room, I open the Miro board again and they can see their brainstorm notes; then we can move on with the presentation again. Do you think this is the best technical solution for what I want to achieve? Is there a better way through slides/notes/screen sharing etc?
@@VioletVolchok That sounds like a great idea! Miro works great both in plenary and during breakout sessions. You can even set it up ahead of time to open the desired Miro board when the breakouts start. Using Miro in Butter gives you the flexibility of going from presentation to collaboration mode very quickly. There are of course other ways that this could be stitched together as well, but if you're already using Miro, then the way you suggest to approach it sounds like the most straightforward one. Hope this helps 🙏
Hey Ivan, Butter integrates with Google Calendar to let you easily schedule sessions directly from Butter. We also have a Google Workspace App which lets you add Butter links to any events planned directly in Google. Find the Workspace app here: workspace.google.com/marketplace/app/butter/376116311853 If you want to use Butter with Calendly, we have created a little guide for how to set that up here: help.butter.us/calendly Hope this helps!
Ótimo dia campeões. Sou do Rio de Janeiro. Preciso me familiarizar com esse aplicativo. As informações estão na língua de lançamento. Preciso em português.
Speaking of distractions, it is very distracting to see the Butter logo backwards on the Mic. Yes, perhaps the picture feels more balanced this way, but just when I think I'm getting my dyslexia under control, this sort of thing triggers, or, distracts. More than any silliness via emojis.
Butter Beginner Blake here, and I really appreciate my participants NOT needing to download anything, install an app, or create an account. My Clown Alley (for real, not a joke) has said they were traumatized by Zoom technical requirements and they don't want to be subjected to that pain just to join my admittedly more fun online meeting. Thank you for Butter!
My question would be, how quickly and easy can I make participants of a session spread over many rooms? In Zoom this is a lot of work, and demands a lot of time. What if participants could go to rooms themselves?
Hi there! It sounds like what you're looking for is breakouts-specifically breakout rooms. We have a video on that too! 👉 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE--omPOFlFanw.html Let us know if that doesn't answer your question 👍
Hey KootFloris! Great question! I'm guessing you're referring to assigning people to different breakout rooms? In Butter there are a number of ways that you can do this: 1. Use the Breakout Groups feature and set the groups size you want. Butter will automatically create groups and assign participants. 2. Use the Breakout Rooms feature and set up however many rooms you want. In rooms you can assign people before you start or let participants can choose which room to go to themselves! You can read more on the different breakout options in Butter here: help.butter.us/breakouts Hope this helps!
This was such a fun session to facilitate, especially alongside my Miro partner in crime Rachel:) Thanks to Anamaria for hosting us, and to the Butter Community for attending and asking such amazing questions!
