Oh God! I nearly chocked listening to these. If all the youngsters of this generation can learn about the sacrifices our forefathers made then I am 110% sure that Nagaland will change.
My heart hurts so much hearing how our elders n grandparents suffered at the hands of the indian armies.. I hope n pray Dat no one will suffer again like this in our time...
It's really heartrending thinking about how our people were tortured intensely by Indian Army 😔.. Schools and media's should educate these historic events to our new generations.
Angami and cheka forbid their younger brother sumi from using that stone which started a quarrel between brothers and that compelled their mother to burn down that stone. It is also believed that along with the spirit bird (that ascended to heaven) came a magnificent beautiful rooster and flew northwards direction (present zunheboto areas)which their mother asked her sumi son to follow that rooster, and in turn led to new settlements
Love every bit of the series. Very creative to put the kezhakeno stone on the last series of the five stone narratives film. It is informative and well produced. 👍
Thank you Take one. It always feels good listening to all the stories. When taking such videos from villages, would also love to hear of how the villages were named or why that name (there really must be a story behind). (Asking out of curiosity and interest). Thank you Take One
I remembery mom telling me about this atrocity years after it happened. During the indiscriminate firing by the indians, a mother at her home was holding her infant baby and looking to hide when a stray bullet hit her, severing her 2 fingers and instantly unaliving her infant baby. Thank you Indians. Thank you
This was done by Congress. I'm not saying BJP is better but fk them both. Most people have forgotten the atrocities commited by indians and now Naga women are sleeping with the enemy.
Wi-shaa-lala- thats a normal laugh Wi-shi-lili - thats laughing out aloud... Those were the days i enjoyed during the pre-hostoric period before settling at Chungliyimti but now we are a dikhu river apart.
Really appreciate the upload. Its very impt for all of us but rare to find in today's time. This kind of documentation takes a great deal of effort and risks too on the editorial part. But whatever the circumstance may arise we should really preserve our lores and songs as a part of one's own identity so as to not say that a dog had eaten it away.
Reminiscing my childhood memories all over again. My grandpa used to narrate this story to us and seeing him narrate here as well makes my heart full. Thank you TakeOne Nagaland for featuring my dear obu.
