Donna vekic is way past it now she barely wins any first round matches never goes deep in the big tournaments or even the small ones and will never win any. Big or small again.
Predictions for next year retirements: Errani Konjuh Andreescu (maybe) Kvitova Zvonareva Kanepi (maybe this year) Diyas (already inactive but I think she’ll make an announcement of some kind) Venus (she has to otherwise she’d be torturing herself) Maria (most likely 2026 tbh) Gut feeling about Brady and Muchova, unfortunately I think they’ll retire young. 2026 perhaps
@@pablop38 I checked her age I forgot she’s only 23. In that case she has plenty of time to heal, hopefully she will and we’ll see her playing more and withdrawing less
Diyas just came back. Errani has nothing to come back to, so she will grind itfs until she is 83 nonna. Andreescu way too young. Sadly Konjuh with her injuries histories und unfulfilled potential most likely will retire soon.
Andreescu and Osaka are more likely to retire soon than Cirstea. Errani should be on this list too, but you hate her because she was way more successful than Lisicki
Personally I think Errani will retire in 2025/2026. Shes playing decent and if she were to retire she’d do it in Rome. Osaka won’t retire, she’s enjoying herself but if you’re gonna say Andreescu will retire then I’d say Konjuh will retire as well
This has nothing to do with the war. This is tennis and showing respect and sportsmanship. Need to get that in the Ukraine players head, it’s not any Russian players fault.
