Deciding to buy the box, I have read some Amazon reviews and some state, that the material is thin and easy to bend / scratch? What is your experience here, please?
Thanks for the video. I have a retrax tonneau cover and was thinking of mounting a tank in the same spot. I was wondering if you had considered using the air compressor you might use for your tires to pressurize the tank and drive the water out instead of a pump so you could get higher pressures to use for showers and whatnot? Was curious if tanks like that can handle the pressure. Thank you!
Hello, in Chinese goods, when I reach a certain temperature in the environment, the system does not cut off. Is this the problem part when I change the heat therm?
I don't think so. I actually got a brand new controller and just used the controller temp sensor without modification. And when my temperature reaches its desired temp setting it does not turn off, it just slows down the heat and fan output to the lowest setting.
Cheers to home brewed beer we just subscribed after your video found us. We love to home brew beer grow some hops, make different wines and meads and others on our channel. Stay thirsty friend and brew good beer.
I've used it multiple days without it running out of battery. But I use it pretty much as music headphones. Not the comms. I've never been able to successfully communicate with other people.
Would make sense to solder a 2-pin socket where the thermistor used to be, that way you can at least unplug it if needed, or better still a jack plug so you can keep existing thermistor but interrupt it when an external one is plugged in.
Carli!!! Lifetime true warrenty or EMF from Canada. How do you like them Tires, the Nitto Ridge Grapplers? I got 4 I just ordered. From those aweful Good year Duratracs OEM. 2021 Power wagon, bought it last year. Breaker bar is beak it free, little rubber mallet taps. Not to hurt a rachet. I never broken a rachet that way, even use soft hammers in them sometimes. Thicker metal on the breaker bar, less bending of the handle. It doesn't matter. Be careful cleaning up the metal. Use wire wheel don't angle the top or bottom of the holes. There slight cone shape to the hole structure. No circualr sander or drill sand paper at all. Takes too much metal... Makes it unconed shape and more circualar or causes gaps. Wite wheel lighlty. No angling it side ways or such. If theres a ridge in it, use a rat tail nail file. Those ball joints look like the Carli lifertime ones. I like your video.
just cut and extend the wires on the controller alot easier its only 3 wire and do an 3 wire extension cable aslong as you want with a with a releasable connector
I was actually really concidering on buying these, before I saw this ”review”. They seem to not work. At all. Thank you for saving my money for something that actually works! 😅
I ended up going with Outdoor Tech Chips 3.0 Wireless Helmet Audio, and it works like a charm! They do not have P2P audio call capability, but you can always use them for regular cell calls (via Siri). I don’t know how it is for the America, but at least here in Europe the cell coverage isn’t an issue, even at the “mountains”.
It looks like to extend the wires for the controller would be faster and easier. That way you would have the controls in the tent with you...but thats what everyone else is doing, so lets confuse thermocoupler and thermistor, lets damage the outer case of the controller so we can use the glue...
I'm not complaining. This video taught me how to not take the unit apart, so it was indeed helpful. I need to make the unit shut off by means of an external signal so getting in the box is necessary.
I'm making French cleats for my tool storage. While your 8' x 4' sheets look pretty interesting, it's probably the most wasteful (in terms of both materials and time) cleat design I've ever seen.
I liken it to getting an Aviation Sofa Chair vs a metal flooding chair. I would rather have a West Elm dining table then an Ikea folding dining table. Most of everything we own would be considered wasteful and it comes down to our own preferences. I wanted that look and that's what I built.
I have this wall too and about to embark on the same thing. Did you have to leak seal the back surface or anything? I rarely get a bit of moisture in the blocks if there's a massive rain. I was going to mount some 2x2 pillars first but this looks nice
Hey, I dont mean this with any disrespect, but whats your reasoning for not wearing a helmet when you ride? I am genuinely curious and dont mean any disrespect because it is your choice. Great video!
A random piece of scrap is a pretty poor pushblock, it also kind of defeats the purpose when you run your other hand on top of the work piece... I really hope you've changed some habits or you're soon to join the 7, 8, or 9 fingered woodworker club.
Hey man If you don’t mind me asking how much is a house like yours, it’s literally a dream house with the garage and I would love to ride my motorcycle around flagstaff like you
Zillow says $1M Definitely not what we payed for it. Real estate prices skyrocketed in Flagstaff since we purchased. All the houses in our neighborhood are going for over $1M. It's unfortunate but investors are buying them up for Airbnb's driving up the process and not allowing people to be able to purchase homes to live in.
Holy crap… What a lot of work! Why didn’t you just cut the plywood into strips with a 45 on one edge like everyone else does? This way you had to make a bunch of plunge cuts with the circular saw and put the 45 on with a router. To get the 45 all the way to the end you may have even needed to do some handwork with a chisel. If you wanted the vertical ends on the strips you could have just put those on with pocket screws or dowels.
