Thanks for the comment 👌🏾. I haven’t yet found a shampoo that can grow your hair faster, to be honest I’m not sure if one exists as it’s more about the overall hair care routine. I do however think that there are definitely shampoos out there that can aid if your hair growth routine. Ones that are not stripping and add moisture while cleaning. I’ll definitely be creating some content on good shampoos. Do you have a particular favourite shampoo that you use?
Serena I can totally relate! With my mum being Indian I often got that same response and the same Look, I did used to get offended actually but learnt to just love my hair and look after it and I now feel so much more confident leaning to just love it and like you said just looking after it well and using better products. I love this video and really am going to remember the points you’ve mentioned.
Aww thanks so much Chantelle I’m so glad my experience resonated with you. I’ve not really seen anyone talk about this experience but I’m sure it’s happened to plenty of people and is still happening. There was actually a time I considered just saying that both my parents were from Jamaica because I was sick, tired and upset of the response I was getting about my hair. But thankfully I took the time to educate myself and learn how to care for and love my hair and as you said once you do that it’s a real game changer! ❤️
