I’m guessing 20 psi is a good pressure for those tires so you’re getting maximum traction and a little bit of cushioning and obviously am soil ZR 10 W-4 oil and their hydraulic fluid with the hydros
Does the mounting bracket screws go threw the crossbar and threw the ceiling? The ceiling is just plaster so we’re wondering if it would be strong enough to support the fan. Maybe we are missing something?
Thanks for the video, getting ready to build this same setup for a construction trailer. Already have the roof vent, and waiting for the local RV dealer to get the wall vent in stock. You giving an inside look at the box was the one missing piece to the puzzle, and I'm sure I can come up with something a bit better for the inside of mine. Wanted a rooftop RV, however they are crazy expensive, plus Construction/cargo trailers the roofs are made a bit cheaper, where you can't walk on them, like an RV.. So this seemed the best way to go. I may or maynot be making a video on RU-vid on how to build this from scratch with part numbers.
That's wild. From my view, that slope doesn't look steep at all. I have a Bobcat ZT with stock turf tires. I can only shake my head each time they spin.
How did you get it out, we undid the screws in the front and it wobbles up and down but it feels like there’s something in the back still screwed down because it will not pull out no matter what we do and there’s no way of getting access to the back without removing the outside and it’s been on there so long that it’s bridle or just break
My washer is not draining through the small hose in the front where the filter is the water just gushes out through the filter once I opened it and the filter is not clogged at all, I think it’s the hose that runs from the back and drains out there I looked down in it and it has all kinds of dog hair and stuff in it, we raise Belgium, Malamas so you can only imagine the hair and stuff. Could I be correct about this and if so how do I get the hose completely out of the back of the washer???
I know this video is older, but still: How has this held up? I was planning to use Chore Boy or copper wool, since steel wool rusts. We live out east, and yes, the brown rats got really invasive during lockdown, but we just had regular field mice in our car (upstate).
still have the camper, and so far haven't found any mice or rats in it, but definitely have them around as I'm now on an acreage and battle them constantly in the barn..
expensive..that's the downside. ride seemed a whole lot better on bumpy areas where I mow sometimes. if you have a decently smooth property, may not be worth while, but if you're mowing a county ditch or a wash out area, it's a big help
@@hwdllc if you get them from eBay, they’re significantly cheaper than if you get directly from Hustler….. the one downside to that is… well, eBay But I ordered my mulch kit from eBay and it was perfectly fine…. And $300-$400 cheaper than hustler … said it was genuine oem part - Not sure if that’s true but it fit and functions just fine
Hey Daddyswork, what manufacturer did you go with on rockauto? You found the exact same looking assembly as stock and I would like to buy the same one.
Okay, thanks a bunch! How are they looking 2 years later? Do you use the plastic headlight yellowing preventer that megiures makes? I heard about it from Scotty Kilmer.
(Sorry for all the questions, just want to make sure I can get a quality headlight brand) One last question, how does the beam pattern match the OEM headlight assembly? Does it differ any?
Pattern looks the same as far as I can tell, and lenses still good now. Haven't used any polish or preservative on it, and generally stear clear of Scotty kilmer advice
Thanks for the content, just picked up a MKX and looking for coolant flush/fill/burp tip. If your tank and coolant was so old you were worried about it why did you not change thermostat? New thermostat seems like a cheap preventative maintenance item. If you are a high miles engine ( like mine) best practice is to change timing belt, water pump, oil seals, etc. rather than remember to monitor your tank reservoir level. fyi you spent to much time talking about minutia and not how to get it done, adds little value, like telling someone how to build a Swiss watch when they ask the time of day. A real time waster on use of old OEM hose spring clamps, throw em out. I always go with SS clamps (hobo freight clamps not SS) which most big box stores sell in different sizes in a "contractor baggie", for use on my fleet of motorcycles, vehicles, and boats. My two cents.
timing chain on these, not a belt. it'll last 3, 4, 500k if the rest of it makes it that far. it is also a very difficult job given the tight location. thermostat-also not a straight forward job. not awful, but not a small block GM or Ford easy job either. no issues with it, so opted to not do any more work than needed at the time. there are some good videos on thermostat housing. depending on year, it may be plastic or cast chinesium. here's a good video if you need it ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ZwQp1QLhRew.html otherwise, hope you are doing OK
@@workingdad sure, chain, not a belt. However I would be skeptical of the ford chain tensioner’s ability to last that long. Also the three engine and transmission mounts seem to be a weakness. Do you have a video on that?
@@dewholdingsllc1050 no video on the engine mounts, but can tell you the bottom one seems to take the most abuse. It and the passenger side are fairly easy to change, there are many other videos on it if you need help.
The washer broke within 2 months of getting it. It washes blankets, towels, rags, and dog toys for a puppy store kennel area. Helping my friend figure out a way to diy fix the washing machine. It wont drain sos
Thanks from my Trusty 2003 Expedition with 68,000 miles. I bought her new in 2002. One of 5 that came to Houston. I had a leather interior put in before I took delivery. She pulled a 26FT Travel Trailer and back and forth between Houston and central Texas. Some trips to work before retirement in 2005.
Did you take the opportunity to reconfigure the pan area under the AC unit to improve the water flow, external drainage and water tightness of the area? There seemed to be a number of unaddressed long term issues there.
there was a recall on this camper for having a drain pan that was too short from the chassis..more of the "how shoddy are campers built" question. drains well after that warranty fix
Roof units have to deal with water just like the wall units do. So proper drainage is key for both installations. It appears as though the drainage configuration may be more problematic for the wall mount units. I was interested to see what was done for the drainage on your unit after you removed it. I was not impressed with the water proofing of the AC unit space. I was surprised at the rather un impressive design and build of the space.
I have a problem with my standing shower. The water flow suddenly came to a trickling halt. The shower would be half flow and then after a few minutes, the flow starts to slow down. Even after changing the shower head, it definitely isn’t the problem. It is def an internal issue. Could it be a blockage in the cartridge? Please help.
Good video. One way to get the pipe to be more secure is to wrap a rubber o-ring around the pipe and then secure with a small amount of waterproof electrical tape around the o-ring. Then the flange can attach and you can screw. Using epoxy isn’t advised because it’s a permanent bond. Easier to remove tape and a rubber o-ring later.
Going on having my dryer 2 years, this was throwing d90 and d95 codes since day 1. I had cleaned my vents prior to hooking up 2 years ago. I called Bob from India at support, WHAT A JOKE. Anyway the dryer is great for clothes and does not throw a code. When it comes to drying towels plan on turning off and on about 5 times before they get dry. Finally had enough and found time to mess with it. Did what’s stated in this video, no help. LG DRYER IS JUNK compared to a cheap dryer, but hey it looks prettier than the basic dryer 😡😡😡😡
that sucks. I'll def say I'm not a huge fan of the fancy style machines..but the wife likes them..so what can a hubby do. So far ours is still working. got them in 2015 or 16, here it is 2024. other than lint filter area clog and water pump filter on cleanout on the washer, they've been great. no other other needed, and we have two kids and 3 dogs.
thank you for this! i needed to put these up but everyone assumes you have the fancy track system they make for closets these days instead of just showing how to do it the old fashioned way!
Hay Ds you can remove the headlight assembly you can also lift up the fuse box cover and then the capitol open enough for you to pull the bulb out disconnect the wire and pull the ball out
I'm sure glad you posed this video , ME and my parents want to say THANK YOU, , I watched your video , and i went to tell my parents, i did exactly what you did , and yes they had the same issue, 2 big dogs and a cat and My mom washes their beds, i drained the water and the filter was full of fur, thanks to you their washer is working again, they were getting ready to call the maintence guy also, which my parents could not afford right now , THANK YOU, THANK YOU from all of us, GOD BLESS YOU
I have this exact problem. Replaced the calciumed up cartridge, still has low pressure and won't get very hot. I dont have a shutoff valve on my tub spout to be able to run only from the faucet. No idea where to go from here.
Don't be afraid to cut a hole in the wall and fix it right. Drywall repair is easy with hot mud=setting compound, which dries rock solid in minutes. The reason the pipe is loose is constant pressure from moving the shower head. It's only a matter of time before the pipe loosens from the drywall. It's got to be attached to the studs like it was or should have been in the first place
