I've recently been having trouble with those buttons at the top. The thing is now 10 years old, especially with the Lungo button. I tried putting contact spray in between them but that didn't really help. That whole thing has to come apart to get to those buttons
I find it very frustrating that what seems to be a common problem with these machines is not being recognised by the manufacturers. I am a 74 year old and there is no way that I can do as you have described. About time Nespresso acknowledged that there is a basic design problem and either fix it or design the machine so that Mr and Ms. Average can carry out maintenance themselves.
Or find a shorter refillable capsules, I mean the the whole length of the capsule to be shorter, to not touch those punching knives. Surely in this case the coffee powder amount will be less, let's say 1 gram less coffee, which will not be a problem!
I really hope you see this. I took apart the controller and blew air into one of the joysticks to fix the stick drift then put it back together and now the two triggers stay active
Thank you for making these kind of "how-to" videos, KUTGW!! Can you show how to remove the part (disc) with the puncture needle at a 'Dolce Gusto Mini Me' machine? Because I can't find the hole you used with the paperclip. Now I can only use the cleaning needle to clean the puncture needle from the outside and I'm not able to let it soak in a cup or bowl with vinegar.
saudações brasileiras ao mestre........muito obrigado pela aula de desmontagem e troca da velha peça..............agora vou recuperar minha caeteira, a partir de agora acompanho seu canal sempre ....abraços
That's neither sleep nor standby mode but off mode. If it in sleep mode, the screen will not start from booting if it wakes. :) Sleep or standby mode easily consuming 1.7mV or 450mA :)
Love the video, super helpful. The good news is that I got the machine taken apart, cleaned and put back together…but the bad news is that now it won’t turn on. Any ideas on how to troubleshoot the electrical?
Hello Adrian. After I watched your videos a few times I disassembled my Nespresso machine and want to get the Orings ordered... Thanks for the video. The only thing I feel weird about your videos is that the camera is in front and on top of you and this causes the image to be inverted. I felt a bit confused when I was holding the plastic parts and watching the video to disassemble. Please see if it will be possible to put the camera behind you and maybe it will be easier... Anyway, just a comment. Your videos are very nice.
Hi I think your video can help me repair my Dolce Gusto coffee machine. It turns off while the coffee is brewing and I have to restart it several times for a coffee. Do you have a link to purchase the blue piece you mention? Thank you also for your video which is complete 😊👍
I just coded a new battery does that mean my ibs sensor is OK? I just got the code the code 2d7c and so say the ibs could be the culprit as well as the alternator regulator. I don't want to randomly throw parts at it blindly
First of all: Thank you for this video. I own such a machine myself, which was leaking water profusely. Easily done by changing the seal where the water tank is plugged in. I hope you dont mind if I make some critical remarks: In between it seems you do not really know, what you are doing. Your hands tremble, you're breathing hard, how you handle the screw driver to open the sides of the machine will - I do no doubt - leave visable marks on the plastic casing ... And of course, the maintenance of this machine is NOT done with making the lever move again.
Hello and thanks for the comment. Glad you managed to repair your machine. Regarding the critics of cours I don't mind when they are constructive. This is one of my earliest video and clearly I made mistakes. But some of the stuf I cannot change like my breathing since I have a deviated septum. Some of the units I use, are for spare parts, that's why I don't care about the finish of the plastic which as you might see are scratched from the begining. Now maybe I am wrong but the main ideea is for people who are watching my video to get an input on how to do it. I am not doing restoration videos. But thanks again for the constructive critics, that shows you care and I apreciate. Take care mate!
