I just converted some iPhone photos which, for example, are 1.95 MB and 4284x5712 pixels. Doing a straight convert to JPEG at full 12 quality resulted in... 83kb file size and 312x416 pixel ratio. That wasn't as expected! (Bridge 2024 Windows 11)

Can you provide more details: step by step what are you doing? Do you have .pat file? Do you see some error message?

They’re still remaining the same size as original. 60mb RAW is still 60mb JPG when doing it this way. It isnt compressing the file size. It’s just changing the format for me.

Oh my God! Dude! This solution has saved me big time! Thank you so much! I have been struggling for 2 years now with my photoshop. Couldn't understand why it keeps crashing when I open 3 or more files. Even with just 2 files whenever I use hand or scrubby zoom tool the 2 files glitch with each other and eventually the program crashes. This "Deactivate Native Canvas" seems to do the trick. It has been 30 mins since I did this and will keep observing the program as a use it in the coming days. Will definitely drop an update again within the next 2-3 days. Thank you again! :D
