Imagine if the germans attach this on destroyer and make a early ww2 cruise missile ship Like just imagine they replace one or two torpedo launcher with a row of these and use it against ground enemy like how we use tomahawk missile against ground target
Эти коробочки на крыше танка- минного трала , защищенного целым гаражом, не просто так. Это средства радиоэлектронной борьбы. Поэтому дрон не пролетает так красиво как на видео , а зачастую зависает или теряет управление.
MK-8's were utter rubbish. Ultimately they killed more Americans and sank more of their ships than they did the enemys as the 98 percent of the time until late 1944 they failed to explode. This PT', DEs, Destroyers, and cruisers were only effective with gun fire. Thousands of Americans paid with their lives because a protected incompetent Admiral signed off on these pieces of junk. PTs later added 37mm, 40 mm Bofers, and even once a 5"-38 to have effective suppression of fire from enemy ships.
I'm amazed these drones are able to lift an armor penetrating round and large capacity battery pack. When drones were first coming out, a DSLR camera was about the weight limit for large sized drones.
By and large, that's due to government regulations limiting the amount of lift, specifically to prevent this kind of threat vector. When you're building your own hardware, you can easily configure it for the lift required for the end use.
Just a little tidbit. The motor shown at the beginning of the video is an outrunner motor, in which the stator is in the middle and bell of rotating magnets on the outside, so the text should not be visible as it is rotating. Just a drone nerd years ago before it was turned into a death machine 🤓
@@bigvaxmeanie925 Well that'd be irl, but rn we're talking animations. If it really were corrupt there wouldn't even be ERA panelling. You think too highly of the Muscovites - their audits don't go beyond a glance, especially if the inspector has his hands stuffed with fat stacks
@@bigvaxmeanie925that is a real possibility. If they didn’t, they should be fine, assuming they don’t hit a mine, or get hit from every angle possible.
Russia: Haha! we covered our tanks in sheet metal meaning it will block the first drone that hits it! Itl also make them unable to turn their guns but dont worry about that. WHAT WILL YOU DO NOW? Ukraine: Idk send in 2 drones? Russia: Shit.
Well as I understand they have to spend way and I mean way more drones on turtle tank (which usually acts only as forward defensive breaking vehicle and apc with inf inside this abomination). On an unprotected tank they use around ~7-8 drones (including those that are just missing), with turtle tanks this number is definitely over dozens. no one posts there misses only finishing blows am I incorrect ?
@@johnyexfil6113In the beginning, yes. Ukraine quickly adapted to the Turtles and Russia has since largely stopped using them. Russia has been gradually using less and less armored vehicles and more and more quads and ATVs and motorcycles anyway. Their supplies are starting to dwindle. Guess that’s what happens when you lose almost 20.000 visually confirmed pieces of equipment and more than 800k soldiers while only inflicting a fraction of those casualties on your enemy.
@@FacitOmniaVoluntas. they have been using bikes since 2023 esp in summer. Where do u get ur numbers, how the fuck they lost 800k personal if they had only 200k max in begging and then ~+600k through forced and voluntary mobilisation. And even if we add up additional 300k from nowhere. It would mean that they lost 90% of there army and still gaining ground ?! The fuck. 20.000 vics ?! once again where did u get this info from ? And how exactly did they adapt to turtle tanks ? What change if they are still being used (just those videos are not so shocking and aint gettin enough attention )
