Lol this is a cut scene from an earlier episode but it does fit with people being sad about sams death. However, Sam died when he stepped into the quantum leap accelerator while AL was driving in the first episode. He technically had to “kill himself” to start the journey leaping through time, and that was steven from the last episodes importance
Im glad he did come back for Superman IV, and it was the first Superman film I saw in the theater as a kid. So I have a soft spot for it...but really agree he should have walked away after 3 when he had the chance.
How very fascinating that today on June 6 2024 I should. connect the dots between Lee Marvin and Mark Hamill and suddenly Mark is telling us that George Lucas recreated. D day in Normandy. in miniature I'm hearing this for the first time in my life on D day 2024, On a 10 year old video filmed 40 years ago.. Very interesting. I can't find anything else about it through Google. The subject of Lucas recreating Normandy anywhere on the Internet It's only Mark saying this here that we've ever heard this? I suppose we might have to contact Mark Hamill directly and ask him about this.
I remember loving this show as a 12 year old kid. Looking at it again now, as an adult? Umm… not so much. But it did bring me joy back in the day when I needed it, so no complaints here.
This was for the 1985 re-release. If this was 1983, they wouldn't be showing the ewoks or jabba the hutt. Before the film released in theaters, lucasfilm made sure no spoilers were given to the public about jabba or the ewoks.
They will stop and start and maybe do some retakes to get the segment just right, but the negotiation was real. He made an offer, I took it. It all went by fairly quickly. I can't speak for everyone who's been on the show, but it wasn't staged for me.
An age when people didn't care about spoilers because movies didn't rely on gimmicky secret reveals to lure an audience, it was story that sold the films. Ironically this film has one of the biggest secret reveals in history lol but at least the media was pretty good about keeping a lid on it
Lol, the bonus disk is why i wanted this one as well. The disk being in 4k is just a nice added touch. I ended up paying about 126€ that's a bit over 130$ for a used one. Btw it was all of Europe not just the UK that got screwed.
"and now let's get to what I really wanna talk about, my art!" running out of timefor the interview when BIlly was most enthused is the biggest crime of the century!
I was 18. About to be a Sophomore in college. It was a SUMMER HIT! I Was attending a small Southern HBCU in the south. I c/n imagine destroying the cafeteria or a house like that🎉 As hard as folks worked....i believe Booker T Washington and Mary McCleod Bethune would have appeared🎉😅
By the time we were within the year 2000, we were seeing the next three films which turned out to be the prequel trilogy and it wouldn’t be for about 15 years to see the sequel trilogy, which however would be done by Disney instead of father creator George Lucas.
As a little kid watching this show, I remember being grossed out by "the sock" that was needed to complete the football uniform. It's still funny and gross 45 years later.
I know AI can redo this ending, where Radar comes in and reads a letter from Henry, about how he is back in Bloomington, at his old practice, and thinking about the old gang . AI could do this..
This is the scene that caused me to stop watching MASH. I don’t watch a comedy show to be punched in the heart. And back then it was still classified as a comedy. If I want to be punched in the heart, I’ll watch a drama.
I gather this exists in some alternate reality where Delta isn’t shut down, they don’t crash the parade and escape. And no Boone? (Peter Fox would make a better Boone than an Otter.) Is that Nardwuar as Swami, the pre-written paper supplier? It would make sense, Nardwuar is very good at research.
