Never knew they covered Out on the Tiles!! Thats totally awesome!! Love the collection brother, I'm trying to get a CD collection together rn, wish they had a live album there in the 90s
I cannot wait to get the parts in the mail to finish it up. I've had at least 3 FujiGen RGs come through the shop in the past year and they've always been superb players. I'm also very curious about the neck and body situation.
Probably the first couple minutes of the show before realizing there's no point to record any more than 30 seconds. Hence why this was the only video I got.
Dave Matrise was very up front about JR. He said that they weren't trying to reinvent the wheel and that they are a "meat and potatoes" death metal band. I think of them as the ACDC of death metal.
Yeah and as a result I could buy it for 50 bucks, which I did because it was trashed. refabbed the whole thing though. Was a nice player. Ended up trading it for an amp that I sold for 800 so it worked out.
Who knows man, I got it and a couple other guitars that were all just in absolutely vile condition. Ended up cleaning up nice enough to play well but yeah definitely had to clean it with alcohol wipes a few times to feel comfortable handling it. Felt dirty like a NYC subway station.
@@OnTheFlipSideShow but seriously, I think you’re being a little harsh on the album here… simply say it’s not your type of music, no need to diss misha n stuff man
@@SirRufflez You're absolutely right, I don't like it. It's not my thing. I've since moved away from music reviews. Couldn't stand how much it turned into rage bait.
@@OnTheFlipSideShow you don’t gotta stop doing what you like cuz of others, it’s your opinion in the end and people may not agree with you. I do appreciate the depth you went into in the video..
@@SirRufflez Hey I appreciate that. It's just one of those things that was initially fun but became exhausting over time. The stuff I'm doing nowadays is a lot more low pressure and more enjoyable to make. Maybe a little more niche but I'm chasing happiness at this point, not success. Thank you for watching though.
I had a Peavey Bandit 65 that I used for 15 years in a small local band, and it never failed to deliver the best sound! I would do this little bit of maintenance once every couple years to keep it in top condition! ;-)
Thank you! That's my Peavey T-15. The pickguard was custom cut from pickguard planet, the pickups are a pair of Fuzzlord Alchemist humbuckers, and I swapped the tuning machines out for staggered locking Gotoh tuners. It's one of my keeper guitars. Absolutely adore the thing.
Oh dude they're so easy to take apart. Especially the silver stripe era combos. 4 screws on the chassis, 2 screws on the sides for the front speaker panel. Pop off the speaker clips and unplug the reverb tank if it has one. And maybe one other screw for the power cable. Should all come apart easy. RAWK!
De-Oxit! It's great stuff! I also like the WD-40 electronics contact cleaner too. I find the spray nozzle on the De-Oxit is better when you need to get at a weird angle. The WD-40 is cheaper though. Different use cases but yeah. There's lots of good electronics parts cleaners out there!
I wouldn't have it any other way. The key is to use the preamp line out on the back to a full stack. Kinda similar sound wise to a DS1 but a little more full sounding. Really great overdrive sound. It's one of the reasons that the Decade has a lot of pedal clones on the market at the moment.
