Nice video! I never been to that section of the bay yet. I try to visit the Susquehanna flats around Harve de grace twice a year to fish. Have the snakeheads made it to that section of the bay yet?
Looks beautiful, I live in DC and own a beach house in north Rehoboth Delaware… the beaches, restaurants, venues are so packed with mobs of people. It would be nice to break away and check these areas out that I often overlook. Thanks for sharing! Nice video!
Thank you so much for the very delicate video! I want to experience this 1 day trail with National Geographic, but couldn’t find a lot of detailed information. Your video really helps a lot!
I’ve watched this video 10+ times this weekend just playing in the back round. You’ve captured the heart of the Eastern Shore in this short video I love it. I grew up close to this farm and now live about 30 minutes south on the eastern shore. You should come back and try waterfowl hunting with Bradford it’s a blast if the birds are here.
Cecil county native. Live on the Elk River. Please keep and protect your farm. The main thing Cecil Co has been growing is million sq ft warehouses. Kids are selling off the family farms like hotcakes.
Southfields project off 213 has only just started. That whole project is going to kill that area. I'd bet money they'll need to make 213 4 lane for the traffic.
Was this shot back in spring? I’m not far, in Shenandoah Valley and we’re drought scorched earth…haven’t had rain in months. I got one cutting of hay, usually get 2-3. It can’t be that green now.
This is pure MD! I love it!! Grew up 8 min from the Md line in Delaware on the C&D but have lived the Maryland lifestyle my whole life and can’t live without it. I’ll be on the Chester river tomorrow morning
@@DrewAddis It really is. And it was even more so back when I was a kid. You could literally net crabs off the pylons down at the dock in Cloverfields or if you were really ambitious, you could put on some rubber masonry gloves and dive down to the bottom of the river right at the beach and just pick them up. They were that plentiful back then.
No. Maryland sucks. Maryland's Eastern shore is great. I was born and raised in PG co. I moved to Winchester in 97 and swore I would never move back. Life happens. Move to the E. S. In 2011. Different world. I wish we could succeed from the west. We have no political say.
Thanks for the great trail information. Stunning drone footage. Just a vocabulary side note that the descriptor you are meaning is probably best captured by the word solitude or seclusion. These look like enjoyable, secluded hikes. Awesome trail review.
Drew just found this station …. Grew up in the Deep South of the Eastern Shore - Pocomoke & Salisbury. I’ve always found the world can be a small place, but especially the eastern shore can be a very small place….. talk with folks & finding out sooner or later you know someone in common & sometimes you’re even related 😀 Gonna be following ya & this Shore Thang. Great video & nice quality ! 🦀🦪🐓🦌🌽🍅✌🏻
@@DrewAddisthat's why I don't like Cecil co. Y'all support Philly teams! Go Skins, er, I mean football team, I meant to say Commanders. Yeah, Go Commanders! I think I'm the only Commander fan in Dorchester co. Ok, go Sika's!
Nice video. Good to see home boys living the life. Was wondering how many crabs you got trotlining. Still pulling 30 traps. Got 29 yesterday in an hr and a half and 26 the time before. Crabbing is hot this year so far
We went right after it rained so I think it dispersed them quite a bit which led to a poor outing. We got about a dozen in a few hours. Will definitely be back soon to bring in a lot more next time.
Espectacular y además muy agradable ver tu viaje y como disfrutas de este paisajes, que como mencionas en el título del video, está prácticamente oculto para el mundo, incluso para muchos chilenos. Gran video!
Alright business minor. Advertise your beef sales so local Eastern Shore "Blue Bloods" can buy it from your family directly. I can swing thru Cecil County on my way to work and back. Millington, MD. I know right where you were. I grew up on the Chester River and the Chesapeake Bay. Mushroom anchor, an Eastern Shore favorite. Rockfish, def skin on either frying or baking. Add fried potatoes cooked in bacon grease...a local favorite.
It would certainly work. Crabs eat almost anything organic but he's not using pots though. Finally we got lots of rain today and more coming in the next couple days locally. The droughts can draw more salt water critters further North into the upper bay like bluefish, sharks and dolphin sometimes. 9 ft bull sharks have been caught in the upper bay in nets in the past.
