Ten years ago, we left the corporate world, sold everything, and set sail to explore the world. Since then, we’ve sailed around the globe 1.5 times, raising our family aboard our boat. Now, we’re designing and building the Nahoa 55-an innovative aluminum catamaran for our next adventures.

Folks, y'all are amazing. A fellow Canadian wishing you the absolute best whilst out on the water. I love watching your videos. Thank you for sharing a little bit of life off the prairies.
Seeing Miss Willa’s absolute glee when she got on that perfectly-sized horse gave me happy chills!!! Thank you for showing us the Marquesas again!!!! (and Ashley I KNEW EXACTLY how you felt with your wet clothes and sideways cupcakes.. it’s hard to talk when you have to struggle to get past it…grrrr 😎). That lovely man enjoyed the heck out of the cupcakes anyways - they still tasted the same!! (well except for the bits of sand, but I’m guessing that has never stopped a Marquesan from enjoying his chocolate!). You guys are the best!! Sorry about that sail!! And the nice fish Ben - your fillet skills look great to me! ☺️ And those fruits!!Looking forward to the next adventure!! (Can you tell I loved the whole video!)
I am 63, I have worked delivering boats since I was 21. The only dangerous places in the world are those at war, and off the coast of Somalia. When I saw these guys I knew straight away they were ok. Look at how well fed they are, look at their ages, and look at where you are. Look at the boat they were in, all these indicators tell me they are hard working fishermen, trying to earn a living to feed their families.
I have to agree 100% as i have lived on a remote island, I have witnessed how tourism has ruined it, What you say about being careful about trading terms is so right, Its so easy to spoil what is so perfect, Its such a fine balance, But i love that you understand this and show it to the world, Lots of love from me❤👍
Ha ha! I spend a lot of time near New Smyrna beach, Fla. The shark attack capital of the world. The locals tell you not to worry, they won’t bother you. No thanks. I love to swim in the ocean but not everywhere.
Prob mooring fees , you can't just rock up to anywhere and stay as long as you want. I'm sure many places are free, but many also charge and charge a lot .
Money, greed, possessions have been the downfall of many western cultures. The desire to have a bigger house, a bigger car, look more youthful has damaged our humanity. I'm lucky to live in the countryside where people still matter. So glad you show how other cultures survive without greed
While it’s great for your kids to have these experiences…it’s monumental that these experiences have been filmed. They’ll be able to recall life with their parents and to share their childhood with (their) families. 👍😎
Curious about the heritage of the tattooed man who likes chocolate cake. How long has his ancestors been in this island? If he offered any information about his family's history....
That was really special. It gives hope to me to see the elegance and care that other people around the world act towards their fellow man. The kids certainly helped! Ha ha Great episode. I leave with a smile. Peace
That farmer was so casual and comfortable with you, it seemed like he was just enjoying visiting with neighbors. Bad luck losing the sail. That so sucks!
Oh wow!! Beautiful scenery, I want to thank you Ben and Ashley for taking us on these wonderful adventures, showing us beautiful nature scenery and for keeping it real through the bad as well as the good!! Stay safe and I always look forward to my favorite sailing family to post every few weeks, you're the best!
