What kind of teacher discourages a student from trying new technologies for years??? I was never so good in drawing that I could make it professionally but managed to make some good digital pictures (better than most of my pencil drawings) when I was a kid (when the whole digital art form was much more limited). It is fun and it makes sense to learn it even if you still have things to learn in paper/canvas art too.
Hey - We'd love to use this as part of a montage on the BBC for the this year's TV coverage of the London Marathon. whats the best way to get in touch please? thanks. Phil Hughes
Great video. I am running 24 to avenge a bad run in 22! Well done, unless you’ve hit that wall you can’t comprehend how hard those 12ks were and by finishing you have to remember a few things; firstly, you have the strength of character to see yourself out of the really dark places and secondly that your 26.2 miles was exactly the same distance as the people who ran it in 2hrs! Well done again. I am logging all of my training upto next April and documenting it here if you are interested!
These kinds of videos are inspirational. Best thing to do if it happens again, is not drink the water but swash it around in your mouth and then spit it out, everytime you feel thirsty if you have a stitch. You can also do this with your gels.
This is not recommended to do... it could be really dangerous for some people causing rhabdomyolysis (muscles totally destroyed that they go into your bloodstream), kidney failure and even sudden death by heart failure. DO NOT ENCOURAGE runners to do this.
lmao that moment when you open camera and is presented by your own face and cringe. very relatable XD also, thanks a lot for the tuts! I just switched to Krita, and still need to get used to the new digital workspace, totally needed to learn those scrolling, panning, zooming shortcuts :')
Congrats for finishing 👏, the only difference is made by less prepared marathon runner is that at finish line you will have mixed filling, body pain makes you little less content. But this all worth it after 4 day recovery.
I got to your channel because of your London marathon training. It was interesting to see someone struggling and not a full time running RU-vidr. What channels do you follow? I am more into ultra marathon videos and some fitness lifestyle (kind of this vid of yours). Keep posting!!
Thank you 😄 a big inspo for me running-wise is Flora Beverley. I’ve been watching her stuff since 2020! She’s probably the only running youtuber I watch. I mostly watch channels like Kris Hui/Linda Sun/Holly Gabrielle for more lifestyle + fitness content.
@@coldbrewitch8290 Flora is amazing!!! I've been following her for a year now. If you have time, check Lucy Davis Fit channel and Jeff Pelletier. I'll be waiting for your next video!
Well done Alexandria. Awesome you didn't give up when all of your body was telling you to do so. You collected yourself and pushed on, even managing to jog in to the finish. Totally awesome 💪 Running a marathon is a very very hard thing to put the body through. You can now put yourself in a very exclusive club of which is roughly 0.01 percent of the world's population who have achieved this
@@Marta.comedy No lesson. It's just plain dangerous to try to run a marathon without training, ask any relatively serious runner, running coach or a Dr.
That’s awesome! I’ve run a lot of races, some random short 5Ks, and some eventful half marathons. This makes me want to run a marathon one day! Also I’ve had the same issue with those gel blocks, they make me sick almost immediately while running, but are fine hiking.
congratulation on completing the marathon and i am sorry that you didn't feel well. it's quite funny when i ran it this year too between Miles 17-19 i felt awful but the runner in us makes us not want to give up and compete the mission we are on.
Hey, I'm so sorry to bother you about this but I saw your post on krita. I want to get into drawing digitally on that tablet. The only problem is i don't know what the tablet is called and i can't seem to find one. Can you please help me and tell me any good recommendations?
The science is out...running marathons and long distances are no good for your heart and health...check it out...true...100%.....see dr. O'keefe and others...
Can’t wait to follow your journey Gurl! I signed up to my first marathon on a whim 3 weeks back and I now have 7 weeks to get there! Training is tough but I believe you can do ANYTHING you set your mind to. ALL THE BEST 🎉
