What a negative attitude! You're testing a 1 litre, 3 cylinder, entry level type of vehicle. It's not a VW GTI. I have been driving my 2021 model for almost 3 years now and have had no problems. 😊
I'm a motor/auto content creator.. and.. in my opinion... This is not a bad review.. Juan is not wrong in saying that it is not a great car... But... to say it's a bad car for it's price... and all the other context it deserves.. is maybe missing the point. If I had R100K and was looking for a used-car that was as new as possible (in terms of year built) with as many bells & whistles as possible.. This car would most likely be on my list. It's a first-time buyer's car / student car. Not a car someone in their late 50's should get after working hard their entire life. Thanks for the content Juan!
Doubt you'll see this, but when you mentioned that when cruising, it doesn't seem to have any "giddy-up" or quickness. Or that it doesn't have the "turboed feel." This is fairly true, but the extent you're feeling it is because you're moving your foot down smoothly. Mercedes ecu detects not just the position of the accelerator, but the speed at which you change its position. You could go from minimal throttle to slightly more, but if you twitched your foot to that position the car downshifts quickly and has noticeable turbo lag.
Most VW based bugs weigh 500k ish, i love my one, such fun to drive. Most gearbox issues are worn gearbox coupling bushes, i replaced myn and gearbox is sweet, well worth sorting. Thank you for vid.
As I've gotten older, I appreciate some growl of course, but I like more the quiet peaceful silence when cruising, I can enjoy my tunes. Is there a way to silence the engine sound thru speakers?
Great video, I'm entering the market 😃. A quick tip: to show the viewers how steep a slope is, stop near a high tree that has high branches, take a 3sec shot outside showing road and tree, keeping the tree vertical as a reference.
hi, Renault Kwid is very popular in India and I have a 2014 800cc manual Kwid, and it's a very reliable car, It has run 140000 km, so far no problems with clutch plate, steering, suspension, body metal, the only issue I faced is clear coat faded away and rear boot cable keeps getting cut.
unfortunately this is the iron block rs3 which makes it sluggish on the front end and it does not tune anywhere near the same this is not the car that was hyped
@digitalfruitcake24 I know 2018-2020 are the 8v aka daza Those are are the fastest The newest ones are the 8y and they have better tech like rear torque vectoring but the tcu still needs to be unlocked You DO NOT want to get the older models with the iron block The 8v and 8y are the aluminum block and tune much better
Just get a stage 1 on this. 250hp without issues. The same B48 makes 230stock anyway. I bought mine last week and I'm definitely going to get a tune on it. It feels like a waste how they're restricting the engine in the 120i
