BMW 330D (F30) Stage 3 Hybrid Review - Is this the perfect diesel? 

A 330i is a gem bro, always hang on to them. But if you have the opportunity to grab a 30d then definitely do it, you won't regret it. Like you said, the torque is just ridiculous!

That's great feedback, thanks! Look, one thing I will say on that topic is that many people have told me they prefer the drivability and responsiveness of the stock turbo. Others have said that once they drive a stage 3 hybrid, its hard not to feel slow in a stock-turbo car because the hybrid feels like it just never stops boosting. So definitely take that into account and be honest with what you need from your car. If you need to be faster than most cars on the road, get the hybrid ;)

Think madness and mph must race again. That car only put down one insane time. Where the madness bloaks did it over and over again. Heads up race would be dope.

Problem is that it was the same driver who put down the times in both cars 🤣🤣. Plus the MPH car has been sold.

People are pushing 1000nm out of these 330ds reliably for thousand of miles. I think 770nm is fine for many years to come. Just get it xhp stage 3.

These gearboxes hold 1000nm no problem

And what's nice is that the UK gets the 35d models which from my understanding are able to get a bit more out of tuning?

@@theshiftrsa3285 yeah the 35d achieves 400bhp from a remap and intercooler upgrade. But once you get to stage 3 they achieve the same (same block etc.)

@JReedy27 mate we say this all the time in the F3X FB group when the 35d owners start…and it falls on deaf ears. The 35d is faster on stock and stage 1 comparatively but it’s poor on fuel economy, and way more expensive. 😂 christopolas bop 😉

@@rulleh the 35d is much better off the line due to xdrive and the smaller turbo coming in straight away. The 30d is a bit more lively. For tuning you get a better spec car for your money with 30d and less likely to throw a bearing. The low end turbo seems to shred bearings for some reason

What's the exhaust setup. It sounds amazing for a diesel

Stage 1 is really all you need in my honest opinion. The 330d really takes to a good tune and you will drive it forever without issues.

As above stage 1 is all you really need. I'm getting 12 seconds to 100mph and 5 dead to 60mph, and 50mpg on a run, why would you need more in the real world?
