U cant keep that far away from him any more for very long i noticed that he does something different every phase 2 each time u fight cant keep track of which 10 ways hes gonna come at me
I think the reason druids get dumped on, specifically moon, is because 99% of the games progression systems are null while wildshaped. All that sweet gear you find, the powerful tadpole powers you acquire, or the powerful buff spells you learn. 99% of it is useless the second you transform, and that can quickly become very boring.
@@gigaburgerer yeah true there’s only a few items that persist. The armor of moonbasking gives that extra health which is nice. The only things that really persist in wildshape is initiative since it’s rolled at the start of combat, the strength potion from act 2, and some other random buffs but you’re right a lot of stuff just doesn’t persist in wildshape
Iirc the thing bout sorrow is in early access, Halsin is the one who kills Isobel (with this glaive) which leads to the whole thing with the shadow curse. This is why Halsin feels responsible for the curse and why our character says whatever they say about the weapon. I think that's how it goes
I made minthy a cleric/paladin on my first playthrough i really love when you can go any direction with this multiclass i made it a full tank with defence and the hellriders pride gloves early game you can tank everything with it and get blade ward with your healing. also a reverberation build with luminous armors and spirit guardians, divine favour and on top of that you have smite too xD. with the constitution necklace you'll really be unkillable. you have charisma for dialogues too i can talk all day about this build such a great multiclass
Hi! I added the .json file and my mod manager reciognized it but the console did not pop up in any way, even though the script extender is loaded in the menu with the latest building date
I don’t see where the oathbreaker comes in? Did you already break your oath and become an oath breaker or what? Because it looks like you just kept oath of vengance
11:27 Hi you said using the drake gal I’ve would add reverberation, but it looks like reverb only stacked to 2. Wouldn’t you get that from the radiant damage?
You can get double stacks from it, I didn’t get a chance to show it because reverberation stacks on your team weirdly. Also spirit guardians will give 2 more stacks!
YES!!! DUDE, I LOVE THESE! I would LOVE a build guide for your personal sense of what each character is! All origins plus others! It's a perfect way to combine the best strats and the more lore-side of it all!
Awesome!! 😎😎 I think lore wise I’d have Minthara as a spore Druid, it just makes sense for her in the under dark. Maybe I’ll try and come up with builds that are different than their main ones they start as, but still lore friendly!
The Unseen Menace is one of my favourite weapons in BG3. I loved using it on my Warlock. The fantasy of your opponents getting hit by smth they cant even see is pretty cool.
There is a mod that allows a character of any class to choose a god and opens all the dialogues available to priests and paladins, as well as a mod for additional gods.
Ooo that’s interesting. I’ll check it out! It makes sense you can only have Lolth as a Drow and Vlakiith as a Gith since they’re evil and why would you follow them otherwise hahaha. But it would be cool to have that opened up to anyone
Yeah cause monks, paladins, druids and wizards can all worship deities while not all pally’s and wizards or druids worship or follow a god ilmater is basically the defacto god for open palm monks. It’s the one thing I can consistently complain about when playing bg3
i know its a powerful mechanic but you reference the power of water soooo much i have to imagine your play throughs consist of a extremely confident tav walking in with a water jug snapping a mage hand into existance, then just hands it the bottle. which it just chucks at mach 2 at someone and then while in their state of bewilderment, they get blasted by electric death or turned into a Popsicle.
Hahahahahah I like how you described that because it’s extremely accurate. I only reference it so much since it’s extremely powerful! Larian games are big on the elemental surfaces and double damage from water is just too good to pass up! As a bonus you can freeze people making them take double damage from bludgeoning, thunder and force damage! It’s awesome
@JasonDunna for me the unarmed attack always disappears with a weapon (not counting bonus or flurry) What I have found though is you can con the game into letting you off hand a weapon with unarmed main by switch your mainhand weapon to someone else using the the little quick equip buttons that pop up tho! so you can off hand hillgiant strength club with punches.
I almost lost my job the first month I started this game lol. In all reality it is amazing. I wish I had more time to play. I didnt get to start until recently but I'm 150 hours in and I'm in the middle of act 3. I already have a million ideas on how I'll do my next playthroughs. I did this one on PS5 and I've already bought it on steam. As soon as I wrap this playthrough I want to get comfortable at modding and try some playthroughs with mods and try my hand at tactician and rventually honour mode, maybe. Lol As a newcomer to the game and series and as someone who usually plays "chill/cozy" rpgs and games, I genuinely appreciated all your videos on builds and tips and tricks. Really helped my experience.
aaaaayy the video ive been waiting for. i said the other day in one of your comments that the reach weapons in bg3 don't seem to get a lot of love (exception for returning pike)
They really deserve more love because they’re so fun. Halberd of vigilance + polearm master and sentinel and you can stop people from approaching your team and make it so they can’t move any closer, without being close enough to attack! Super underrated
This is exactly how I picture Minthara. Rn I’m doing a good run so I gotta put an end to her evil ways with Wyll. (Thought about doing a good to evil run with Wyll 🤔 probably won’t though so I can romance Karlach)
hahaha putting an end to Minthara requires the strongest will. I really enjoy her character but it makes total sense for Wyll to want to destroy the goblin camp. Evil Wyll is interesting but I think keeping Karlach around is the right choice! Although this game has endless replay-ability so maybe down the road you can do evil Wyll
I really like your videos and builds man but in most of your builds you just say to dump some abilities for a gear that you get in end game. if you at least say what to pick until then it would be very better
@@ryanconstantine4842 you can get the gloves of dexterity 30 minutes into the game and it can be the easy dump stat for your heavy hitter! Also club of hill giant strength is also act 1. And auntie ethyl sells 3 strength potions in her merchant inventory which you can refresh by long resting or leveling up
Using the word smite and useless together is wild 😅 we can smite on our flourishes too! It gives us a level 6 spell slot still since Paladin is a half caster
Someone well be telling you, "rookie numbers" I'm telling you it's coming but I like you can't put it down a year later. Just wish I could get a 4-player party I know it'll be fun with others.
Paladin / clerics get unique dialogue which is awesome! You become a Paladin of your deity. Not to mention spirit guardians and smites go hard with reverberation builds
@JasonDunna oh sorry I was watching the beginning and I had to go right near the beginning but I really liked the armor and wanted to ask before I left
I'm not the most experienced with DND but I dont know why I havent seen any gwm rogue builds I did a playthrough with a rogue paladin and the finesse longsword from the creche and sneak attack was pretty much 1 tapping everyone
I might have to experiment again with a rogue fighter. I like 11 fighter rogue 1 for the 3 attacks and one of them being sneak attack. But 5-7 or somewhere around there could be good with GWM Phalar Aluve
Yeah it’s the returning pike, but it certainly doesn’t want to return often. If you accidentally throw it on the ground it doesn’t return it has to hit an enemy but even then it’s a bit unreliable at times
After getting the platinum of this game; this boss fight is the best for me. The whole rhythm of the fight has a great pace and you need to find the right combination for perfect guard (just spam L1) Also a good tip is using the perfect guard grindstone for the second phase. Amazing game 10/10
