I read that it took him nine hours before he received A.V. Cops said that the man's house was filthy, with clothes soiled with urine piled up in one of the rooms. Furthermore-p the man is allegedly a schoolteacher. Better that this man does not have any animals. IMO the zoo couldda gave it's A.V. to the bite victim and just lock down the corresponding snake cage until they can get more.
I love Chandler's heart so much! 💜 We need ppl to use at least SOME basic common sense, do much more research, and show a lot more responsiblity BEFORE obtaining any animal as a pet, but especially with exotic and potentially dangerous ones. Thank goodness that there are ppl like you all in the world!! 💜 Thank you for being real and spreading the 100% reality and truth about these situations. Much love 💜
Primates awareness of self and others FAR surpasses, and goes much deeper than with reptiles and other domesticated animals. They keep a large network of deep familial and peer bonds that last their entire lives and they understand purposeful acts and reactions from both animals and humans. They need physical, mental and emotional stimulation 24/7, just like how human children crave knowledge and new experiences to widen their horizons, which they need to be mentally and emotionally healthy. If you've ever seen a docu about abused children that were locked in cages or closets and how insanely damaged they become, THE SAME DAMAGE IS HAPPENING TO ALL OF THOSE PRIMATES!!
Jeff has learnt nothing from his near death experience, he's back doing the same thing all over again! Just a matter of time & his ignorance & stupidity will take his life 🫤
What about the humans we lock in concrete cages with no windows only let them out once in a while. United States incarcerate more people per capita than any country in the world. 20% of the worlds incarcerated is in the United States. United States incarcerate more people then China and they have 1.6 billion people. It’s a $200 billion a year business employee 640,000 people. The prisons are shit some of them were built for temporary bulk houses in World War II they put razor wire up and that’s the prison. If you get charged with a felony in the United States you lose 2200 of your rights for life where do you go to jail or pay a fine do you have no rights for the rest your life. Do you play with the illegal reptiles don’t go by the rules because someone that doesn’t know about reptiles it’s the one enforcing the law and they have you felony charges. You are in the strictest country in the world you chances go in prison or greater in this country any other country in the world . No animals deserve that why do humans? Did you see today that couple that their dog attacked the old man He got 18 years she got 15 . Liability things are changing venomous reptiles are a huge liability and growing.
As the son of a man that has spent 26 years in prison. I understand your point in frustration. However, these are two totally different arguments with more complex arguments within it.
Not the only plane that day .. All of Osama Bid Ladens family were taken to safe spots as per The Bushes.. They were close friends and close business partners.. True story look it up
Judging by the description of all his actions and slander, dude that got bit is a likely NPD case with minimal self awareness and he used hot snakes for narcissistic supply. The thinking he was above the rules also suggests at psychopathy. This doesn't reflect poorly on the venomous reptile hobby, but rather is a reflection of why society needs to put a better metaphorical leash on unhinged cluster B's.
Chandler needs to get off FWC’s dick. What they did to Coffee was disgusting. Not true that the permits were not filed. All animals were chipped etc. they didn’t renew his permit and that was why they put them down.
FWC has some good rules but definitely need people who are like yall 💯 . People also need to quit doing stupid shit like the guy trying to teach people to handle poisonous snacks the wrong way. I absolutely love yalls ideas for preservation and conservation. ❤❤❤ yall are amazing human beings. As far the snakes they euthanized they should have relocated them.
Be sure you get the right story out. You are only adding to the “reckless” free handler story with your reckless comments. He has a duty to protect his staff and no one else. Hope that story is correct. ALOT of people getting sued for defamation.
This has changed my view on Chandler. I didn't have a bad view of him but maybe I had that view that buy a cobra and become a youtube sensation. Youtbe videos we make don't really paint who you are and how much your care about your animals.
It really all depends on the state laws. I checked out the laws, because I used to work at Pet Supplies Plus, and tried to complain about the animals. Yes, animal abuse applies to households, but when you look at the laws of certain states, in my case PA, they are not required to give correct enclosures (as long as they are in something is the only law), not required to feed (let alone feed the proper food), and not required to give water. That's the problem with pets within businesses :-( I do not know if it matters if it is a sole proprietorship, LLC, etc.
I got to say as animal lover, chandler is correct mad respect at his skill I love snakes all animals but it’s understanding them respecting them, I would personally never handle venomous but I’d gladly observe and admire from a distance I live in cattle country handle cattle year round a 2’000 pound bull can turn on you quick and kill some just as quick I’ve seen it in my area. So no one should say one’s life is greater than the next! Again thanks chandler for your knowledge and wise words keep up the amazing work on educating are world on wildlife.
Chandler brought my inner helper out and I finally got my first snake at 40yrs old almost 2 years ago. I have my 6ft female burm and a 3 ft jungle carpet in an rv now. Trying to buy property soon. I enjoy this podcast and I have been loving the retic lounge too! I want 10 more carpets and some retics and monitors 😆
FINALLY someone asked the question WHY WAS THE BOA THERE? When they knew they would come to take care of the snakes and the poor boa was so precious to them…
Chandler did the best thing possible by holding onto his finger like he did when he got bit. So thankful for his quick thinking and action, otherwise I highly doubt we'd have Chandler here with us today.
I'm not normally one to wish any ill on folks but this tool is the rare exception. In all honesty the zoo's statement should serve as stark warning to anyone who would put not only their own but potentially others lives at risk by acting so flippantly with these animals. You're gonna feel bad for the family he gave 0 fs about? Now he survived and he is in need of a kidney to stay alive. Once again taking resources from folks who weren't playing stupid games. W Based Zoo.
Yo dude there’s more enslaved people here on earth right this second than there ever have been before. Yall just sound like a bunch of jabronis. Also the KY REPTILE ZOO has every right to maintain their stock, they’re not doctors, they didn’t take an oath to help patients, they are doing what they do and need to take the necessary precautions to do what they do because if you think free handling is dangerous then what those folks do is insane. The owners of KY reptile zoo are running a top notch facility and setting the standard for venom extraction and caring for their people, they CANNOT afford to not have stock for an inland taipan or any venom profile that they keep at that. No one other than poison control and hospitals owe anyone a certain antivenin. Have a protocol set for the snakes you have. I’m not saying this man should die but I don’t think the responsibility is up to private keepers and business facilities to save someone’s ass regardless of the case, but it doesn’t help that this dude was being absolutely reckless with an inland taipan and no protocol. 🤷♀️
At about 40:44 when the guy on the far right is talking about getting bit badly and says he doesn’t know why, but he doesn’t remember: sounds like he dissociated
No that I dissociated but, I still don’t understand why I didn’t feel it. When I got bit he followed my hand after I dropped some tongs but, it happened quickly & I didnt feel it which is weird happening an open wound, not feel it, & blood just appeared
Chandler you were talking about a boxing match on this podcast, may i suggest a match for you to do, and you can use the proceeds for charity, how about Chandler vs Jeff taipan bite man Leibowitz?
