Hey mate, any advice, tossing up between around a 2015 model of either Cayman 981 S, Jag F Type R, or the Lexus LC 500, all similar priced with around 40,000 miles on it, the Cayman sounds like the answer, except the other two seem to have an amazing v8 roar and luxury inside? Will be test driving then soon, just started looking
@dishant5867 so far the Jag Ftype R seems to be the best car for money, drove one the other day, its insane....I drove the lexus LC 500 too but it's too refined, it's too much of a grand tourer but the Jag is a monster and commands respect on the road......not gna bother with the potshe, too common and not a V8
hello...! Your channel is excellent. I want to paint my motorcycle the same nardo gray or crayon color as your Porsche, I see that when I open the door, a black plate appears on the frame of the bodywork that says the code of that beautiful color. would you be so kind to tell me? I'm from Colombia and I can't find a way to go to the USA to see the code there. Thanks friend and God bless you.
@@torquesporttv9078 Thanks for your help, God bless you. but I can't go to the Porsche because I live in Colombia, I don't have anyone in the USA who can find out the code for the gray crayon 😣.
I have both of these cars and generally agree with you. I really like the 991.1 it’s a more direct and engaging car, exhaust sounds great. The 992 is a sweet machine too but in a different way. Tough call if you have to pick o s
@@torquesporttv9078 I feel you but painting they just charge so Fk'n much unless you're a painter or know someone that is...how did it hold up plastidip?
@@torquesporttv9078 not bad at all! considering the ease of application and cost compared to a vinyl wrap. Thanks for the response...still have the vehicle?
The video is VERY misleading. A couple things for anyone thinking of doing this modification: 1) The scoops come in primer. This guy's car happened to be white so it looked *somewhat decent* but in reality you will need to get it painted professionally unless you are buying them in carbon fiber or if auto painting is like your hobby... 2) The rocker panels must be removed and these bad boys have to be BOLTED in otherwise you are risking your $1k freshly paint-matched side scoops becoming high speed projectiles on the motorway. Do not have your trackie-decked gym buddy Sven install them like this knucklehead did, because they are scoops - i.e. they are meant to disrupt airflow and thus create drag in order to suck more air into the engine bay - and Sven's "pull test" is not an accurate reflection of how much weight is pressing against them when you are driving fast. Any decent mechanic knows that "hand tight" and "properly torqued" are two different things. Cutting corners is not only expensive, it can be dangerous. 3) If done properly not only does it look fire, but it's actually a great track mod that will help to flush hot air from the engine compartment, and reduce temps to an extent. The only thing this video does a good job of presenting is the aesthetic component. If you drive a porsche then chances are you want your car to be functional AND pretty, so do yourself a favor and do it right. :P
Sigh,Maserati as a one of the best's sounding cars in the Planet thanks with Ferrari ingeniated honorific engines, but if Ferrari its italian sounds like a Porsche V8??
I have a Cayenne S, and Porsche wanted to charge me over $700 for new black emblems.. Crazy considering you can plasti dip it yourself for less than $70! Good job. I did the exact same job on mine.
Because they’re always someone who would have said you should have tried them each individually just incase lol.. this way I’m showing exactly how the sound changes
@@torquesporttv9078 yeah I get that but in the video you press the sport exhaust button then the sport plus button. You only have to press the sport button (or sport +) to activate both things. Then press the sport exhaust button afterward to deactivate. Just saved time and no need to press all the different buttons. Much like the auto stop start. I never press that. Just press sport and it activates the sport exhaust and deactivates the auto stop/start all at once. Instead of pressing three different buttons for the same result
