Nice example guy's. I have a 1985 Mondial QV and is very nice, maybe not quite as good as yours, but very clean nevertheless. I've had it for 9 years now and just love it. I spent 3mths cleaning and servicing my engine so it runs and looks a peach. Cam belts and clutches are not hard to do yourself and you will save a packet. Mine has 135,000 kms on it now and I drive it whenever I can. I live in Perth, Western Australia, so weather is not an issue. A moving Ferrari is a happy Ferrari. They get faster as they get a few miles on them. Many people rubbish the Mondial and clearly they have no idea what their talking about. I wouldn't sell it for anything except for my child's health. If you do any self maintenance on it, film it and post it. We can all learn from each other and save a packet at the same time. Thanks for the vid ! Marc

Torque sportTv, Wow ! A 458 is one of the most beautiful Ferrari's to date. It's definitely my current favourite, the 488 is nice as well, but the 458's simpler styling is sweet. The rap looks good and yes they are easy to keep clean. Black paint is hard to keep clean here in OZ, let alone the UK, so rap was a good choice. It looks like it's in fantastic condition and was there a reference that it belonged to a rellie of HRH Bernie? (F1 royalty). Like your bro, I too have wanted a Ferrari ever since I was 12 years old and that was 35 years ago now ! I know the Mondial is at the bottom of the price range of Ferrari's, but I never bought it for investment, I bought so I could "live the boyhood dream". There's just nothing like driving a Ferrari, it's just motoring magic. If I had a choice of any "classic Ferrari" to own I would most definitely chose a 206 or a 246 Dino... loved them forever ! That is a rather beautiful example and is really cool that it has a car phone because my dad just purchased a 1985 Ferrari Mondial QV with a car phone as well, our car is a similar spec but has a tan interior instead.
Very nice !!It's a very similar car to my '85 Cabrio (imported from Canada). It's a fun summer car. I've had a few issues with the electronics, But all in all she's been a great motor.
