In which lesson was it taught that the auxiliary 'will' takes priority over 'be' when moving the auxiliary to the front to make the question form? i.e. Sam will be back on Friday. Be Sam will back on Friday? (XXX) / Will Sam be back on Friday? When teaching students this formula, how do you avoid this confusion when all previous examples move the 'be' auxiliary to the front. What 'lesson' needs to precede this to timely address it?

Not only is English important in communication but it is also very strategic in research and employment search.

Indeed! It's the language that now connects us all together, so it's worth trying to speak it well and clearly to make our connections stronger and more meaningful.

The explanation "State (verb) describing something": the verbs used here also have the character of linking verbs (could be replaced with "to be"), hence expensive (not~ly) is correct which is, of course, an adjective (and not an adverb)! There is an adjective used with a verb! Delexical verbs (also delexicalised~) or collocations (here with verb and noun) are so often used. "We breakfasted an hour ago." You will find this very rarely. <<Had breakfast>> is so much more popular. <<Have>> loses its initial meaning (possession), thus the term, and thus the continuous with have which no longer means ownership in this context.

For He, She and It, we need to add S, however sometimes it's confusing when to add S. I want to learn more about this topic. Can you make a video about this subject?
@nederlanditis8154
@nederlanditis8154 День назад
It's not that confusing. It is a particularity of the present simple. He-she-it is a mnemonic for third person singular. He and she will usually appear as a name, it represents things. This is very basic stuff, by the way.
@AngloLinkEnglish
@AngloLinkEnglish День назад
I find the confusion arises when the 's' disappears with Modal verbs: He can / must, etc. Also, the fact that it only applies to the Present Simple can be confusing.

Mam, I have some doubts. You said, "in" means after a certain period of time. Morning refers to a period of time. When we write, "in the morning" it does not show after the morning. But, when we write, I am coming back in two minutes. It shows that I am coming back after two minutes from right now. What is the difference ? Preposition "To" To shows destination. I am going to the market. Here, "market" is my destination. When we write, Practice is the key to success. Here, "To" expresses the relation between key and success. What relation do they express ? I have been in Kolkata for two months. Here, "have been " is present perfect form of the verb "be". In shows that I have been at any point inside the area of Kolkata. But, when I write, I have been to Kolkata. Here, "have been" is the present perfect form of verb "be". "To" shows destination. Why do we use here"to" to expresses that I went to Kolkata and right now I am not there. I went to Kolkata. Went shows it is a one-time action and completed action. That is why we mention time with simple past tense. Mam, please make me understand those concept.
@AngloLinkEnglish
@AngloLinkEnglish 8 дней назад
1. Here I explain the difference between 'in' and 'within'. 'in' has many different uses as a preposition. 2. In the phrase 'I have been to ...' 'been' is the past participle of 'go', which has two past participles: gone = still at the destination, been = not at the destination anymore.

Hi Minoo! When I interacted with my non-native English speaking foreign colleagues, we all never used phrasal verbs in our speech because we didn't know them at all. Now I'm interested in learning as many of them as possible although the mind resists. Thanks for a lesson that will allow me to master phrasal verbs by approaching them as if from the sidelines, rather than pouncing on them head-on. Great advice Minoo, thanks a lot! Without massive context they won't stick in one`s head. I am getting off of my imaginary cloud and not turning in in time as you has turned me on to them!☁✨✨✨😊😊😊❤❤❤
