Great video, thanks! I see where the EGR valve is located on your sprinter. Is that EGR valve immediately downstream of the engine exhaust manifold or attached to the engine somehow NOT downstream of the exhaust manifold? I've also heard of EGR valve being attached to turbo's exhaust manifold. That's not how it is here, is it?

Oh my God I just realized you must be a genius I'm thinking I'm going to build a couple of these and go places where there's no running water and hopefully very attractive young women will come from all over to take a shower and I will be there enjoying the view.
i assume the pump determines the pressure? i like a strong water pressure...also, how many of these could you have done in a month? a business i work with does alot for the less fortunate such as the homeless and we think these would be awesome to hand out. maybe we can workout some sort of a deal for buying in bulk? lmk how to reach you.

If you have an interest in getting something like this to people who need it, I could likely do a version without electricity needed to charge the battery pack, I could make a pump pressure version and there would be no electricity needed. @@zackbier that would actually be more universal because knowing the people we deal with, one thing they ALWAYS come to us for is to charge their phones or battery banks. literally all thru the day at the shop. we just got 4 of them into their own apartments after years on the streets and got one a car and got another into college working on his culinary degree. will be in touch im going to talk to the owner about it and see if we might even be able to get a grant for it. you seem crafty, there is another idea we have but dont have anyone with the right creativity to build a prototype for it yet. not sure if its up your creek but might be. will be in touch soon.
Question; why not drill/run the power cord through the cap also or vent cap ( if you cut that off also) I’m sure it would vent enough through the pump and cord through the same hole. No ? Great idea and video. 👍👍
Marine 5200 or silicone around and in the grommet to keep water from traveling down that wire. Outside of that, your idea is the easiest and best I've seen so far. 10/10.
If I had to hear any generator run for 6 plus hours a day 5 days a week I absolutely would do somthing like this!! I did have to stay at a spot that had a generator as power and we ended up digging a trench and stuck it in there and had plywood over the top so you could walk over it. The cool ground helped with.... cooling, and the sound was muffled in a major way!! I was surprised how much of a difference it made to be honest. I know digging a big hole is not an option for most but if it is I suggest you try it!! The box like in this video works also and if you dig small holes around d the bottom it breaths much better and helps with cooling but doesn't add any noise or let noise out being that the vents are close to the ground. Just thought I would share is all!!
Question....i want to make one of these, but can you verify if these jugs will leak or not with water in them when laid on their side? I need to store mine on the roof rack of my truck, and want to know if these jugs make a good seal when laid over and stored on their flat side.
I think they would leak if laid on their side. But you could easily get a jug that’s better equipped to handle being laid on its side and hook up the same type of pressurized pump setup to it
Dont they normally tilt up and roll? Likey theyre "portable" i know it can probably be a hassle to deal with that im just asking! Idk cuz i have a homemade miter station
Hey, the miter station doesn’t tilt up and roll. I have the dewalt 12” sliding compound miter saw with the portable stand but it weighs around 80 lbs and is awkward is hell to carry so this has saved me a TON of effort and is way better on my back.
@@zackbier yeah its a great idea man i was just curious if the included wheels on most stands werent worth a heck, depending on price of stand it may be worth the extra money over dolleys for new buyers to get those rolling ones from HF on sale? Don't know the quality of em tho but its usually acceptable, but you do have to fold em and i like that your idea is ready to go... any issues with stand moving on wheels? Even when wheels lock(it looks like they do ?
@@zackbier yeah i have the same saw and it is heavy as shiii i agree, i still have to lug em around once in a while(i have 2) but since i dont have asphalt or concrete in the yard it is what it is, i just throw em in my cart and wheel it that way(cart has large wheels that work in dirt
@@fabianherrera5427 it's honestly just as sturdy on the dolls as it is if it were setup standing on the ground. Once the wheels are locked it stays put without any issues. Maybe if you put some bigger rubber tires on you could wheel it across a gravel or grass driveway.

Awesome idea only recommendation I could give is to coat the quick switch area that touches the can with clear silicone rtv so it seals it in there, prevents contaminants from entering and also keeps anything from getting out. I use clear silicone rtv all the time for high heat water pressure with filters and injection ports, works perfectly.
Hi! I have a question about the connection from the wiring of the pump to the battery pack. The pump has three wires, blue, brown and yellow, and the adaptor only accommodates two wires: positive and negative. Did you just use the blue and brown and not the yellow wire? Thanks!
Hey, I always bought new vans and sold them after I renovated them. But the current market is not nearly as strong as it was a couple years ago so my advice would be to be very picky and patient. Wait for the right deal. With interest rates where they are, there are less buyers than there were previously.
