Hello again! I do a natural protein treatment on my curly perm once a month. I blend avocado, olive oil and egg. So I’m a little bit worried about what you said about protein. Will it still damage my hair even though it’s all natural ingredients? I really need the protein treatment because my hair is really thin and protein is the only thing that makes it get thicker :(
How often do u retouch ur curly perm? I been doing every 8 weeks cus thats what my stylist said but im starting to see its damaging my hair becoming mad straight but then the new growth is so hard to manage especially when detangling. Its causing shedding. My roots is 4c and curls is 3b so the textures being very far apart it’s hard for products to penetrate my roots. I’m now going to be getting retouches every 3 months cus I feel every 8 weeks is too frequent. Do you have any tips on a good detangling process for new growth? What kind of brushes combs do you use? Also, do you have your hair out every day ? How do you wear it to sleep? Etc. Please help😢

I don't understand why you all get so caught up in the hype of this Gina curl when this is Jerri curl in the making. This is strip, break and tear your hair apart with this chemical. This isn't natural. I'm curious to see how many chemicals it will take before your hair start to fall out. What can a white lady tell you about your natural hair? Nothing. But she can tear your hair apart with a chemical that was made decades ago when people were wearing Jerri curls. Nothing new, maybe to the new generation. Do your homework and do your own hair, its beautiful, thick and full if you let your hair grow to it's ultimate length.
Cam you use steamer cap to make process easier? I have one for my natural hair. Would hate to buy more unnecessary appliances to clutter my already cluttered space 😅.
No hate, but somebody explain to me why it takes 7 hours and is 700 dollars? I’m from the netherlands and here it takes 3 hours and gets done for about 200 in dollars
Well to start most things cost more in the US especially in the northeast ✨ Also is a proprietary formula and length of time can depend on how much hair you have and how quickly your hair processes

I wanted to do this because I messed my hair up with heat. But instead I am just using the rods and Treatments until it grows out. Because my hair looks like this when wet, exactly. Turned out cute
