I guess Matt wasn't happy about Pyzel going at his "like a brother" friend Jack with apparently no reason. I don't think Matt is someone looking for random fights.
Thanks for commenting but how can you say that? Do you have evidences? Probably Jack told Matt he wasn't, I don't believe Matt needed to make up a story to answer my question.
Figured to give some commentary: I see Album Surfboards and Christenson Surfboards being a particular genre within surfboard design. But I just don't really feel drawn to it,… but apparently a lotta people do,…. it's sort of the more-so austere high quality cool,…. blues music in the background,… some other music, obscure of course, usually,…… But, me, I'm just basically drawn to surfing like Nicky Wood mid-80's, Tom Curren early to mid 80's,….. that style of board that was going on then, with the speed rails, flatter rocker,…. though with modern bottom updates with concaves,… although they commonly used belly or tail channels back then. It's a matter of style. Btw, Rusty's The Blade most resembles that with current offering, Letty Mortensen vids showing it off superbly. And, the 1984 could be dialed in pretty well too. It's a matter of visuals and that rail speed which is bitchin,…. and, surfing mixed up beachbreaks,….. that being key. I don't want easy peeling,… I want mix up bash up. But I'll take some easy peeling. It's just that the genre of boards of the Album/Christensen, I associate with easy-peeling(even if hollow-throaty). My reality is roughter.
Yeah I think you're right: Album surfboards probably do best in easy-peeling waves for average surfers, but in the end perfect point breaks (as the Maldives waves) are the average surfers favorite. Album as a brand knows that the biggest share of the market is represented by average surfers keen to travel to places such as the Maldives, so why not? Then you see Clay ripping on Albums in the trickiest conditions, but they are gifted surfers so in my eyes it doesn't matter that much. Their product is super legit and stylish, yet I understand what you are saying. Thanks for commenting!
Ha detto cose che molti pensano e che nessuno vuole dire. Noi la pensiamo diversamente come motivato durante il podcast, però è un piacere confrontarsi con passione e competenza partendo anche da posizioni distanti.
Diciamo che forse la verità sta nel mezzo.. so benissimo cosa sia il "surf agonistico" e i risultati, specialmente in questo momento sono più importanti dell'etica sportiva, perché giustificano e tengono in piedi questo meccanismo, permettendo (se arrivano i risultati) agli atleti italiani di avere più possibilità, quantomeno per provarci.. ribadisco bella intervista! Quante inesattezze sulle tempistiche, ho iniziato a fare sur da onda negli anni 80 a mondelo e sferracavallo , con Riccardo giordano e Cico Paladino. Questi sono ragazzini venuti anni dopo. onore al merito per le scuole che hanno fondato ma sono venuti anni e anni dopo.
Daii la storia del surf a palermo è cominciata tramite i campioni di windsurf Riccardo Giordano e Marco Casagrande che grazie ai contest in Australia scoprirono e lo importarono a Mondello, con tavole da surf che a sua volta( i seguaci ) rubavano di nascosto durante le loro trasferte ,le storie dei vecchi surfer locali palermitani sono assurde e i professionisti che sono stati in Sicilia a vojaaa ...non per cosa!!!!😅 ma cmq siete belli tutti ,anche la new generazione che sta per arrivare,un paio di anni daiii !!😅
Posto allucinante, l’ho visitata per curiosità ma non ci metterei dentro un dito in quella sciacqua da pennelli. Nel fiumiciattolo che scarica questa roba immonda c’é un cartello seminascosto con divieto di balneazione, a 100 metri la scuola di kyte. Solo in Italia...comunque l’acqua é turchese ma tutto fuorché trasparente! Ve lo assicuro vista da vicino fa vomitare i porci.
