Average Guys Garage is all about keeping our cars and trucks running at the lowest cost and time out of our weekends. Most of us depend on our auto for work Monday morning. We want to focus on weekend repairs that will get you back on the road. Like most of you, we don't have the latest and greatest tools and lifts. If a job is not for the average guy, we'll let you know.

I'm trying to replace my o2 sensor in bank 1 sensosr 2 and everything im finding shows that it should be in the catalytic converter but my kia does not have anything in the catalytic converter, not that it was sheered off or missing there is not even a spot for it. Every video I find says thats where it should be, going crazy! Came here to see if you had a video on that but unfortunatley I do not see one. The search continues.
How long has it been since you done plugs? Probably needs a set of plugs. Whenever a coil goes bad and you drive it you fuel foul the plug.. And really should replace it and the coil at the same time..
Was able to diagnose and repair same exact problem--brake lights/hazards/signal, and I could hear the relay sound when I depressed the hazards (but not flashers). You need Novita LM474 Relay right under steering wheel. Drove me nuts for about 6 months. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-SEiiqm7VSx0.html
Your old tube was broke that wolverine has a groove that goes around the tube just like the replacement one so part of your tube was broke off in your old water pump it actually snaps in with the oil ring
Lucky for me that's the exact mower I'm having trouble starting. I'm about to start with the plug and inspect the fuel in the tank with flashlight. Will report back shortly!
Talking about what to do and actually showing what to do step by step is two different things. This was a very flimsy made video. I will have to go find a couple of other videos just to see what the hell for sure to do.
Excuse my comment the 1st time I watched the video all i saw was the window and side post , I played it again &it played all.the way though please ignore my ignorance.
I’m only here to replace my engine not my transmission but so far studying your video I can say I can remove my engine with confidence now the hard part is to do the work while trying to work my work but it’s going to be worth it not paying someone to do it 😂
Right rear bulb looks ok but doesnt light up. Light on dash blinks fast as if burned out bulb. Replaced bulb, still not working. What next? Is there a fuse to check? Other lights all work.
I have a dodge Dakota sport it's doing the same thing when you have the chance can you comment and let me know what the part was you had to fix it. I can't figure out why mine is making the loud squealing noise it does it when it's parked and it does it when I accelerate
For anyone that struggles taking it out after unscrewing, use tape. Tape the frontside of the lights and make the tape diverge as it nears the end of the light- make sure there's excess tape that you can twist together(you'll use this end to pull). It made it much easier for me. Needed about 5-6 lines of tape regular scotchtape.
