Interesting to see that you have to "Screw" the piston back in. Thanks for showing, it has given me some info' for doing my Kia Picanto. P.s..i would recommend you use a axle stand as well as your lifting car pulley. Also, you could push your wheel that you took off under the car, also as precaution and not a good idea to sit with your leg/s under the car. Good tip about finding a spare wheel/tyre from a breakers yard....much better than trying to learn the puncture kit etc. Thanks again.
One can use a pair of needle nose pliers and carefully screw the piston back in. Good video and thanks for the instructions; I didn’t know they had to be screwed in.
I believe the center rivet on inside pad should align (slide into) one of the slots on the piston face when caliper is slid back on pads. (reassembled 10.40) Also check slide pin lubrication. Please use the correct piston retractor. (not that expensive) It's fun to collect tools. Ha.
There is a tool that turns the piston back in. You can buy them online and some auto parts stores have them. Before I bought one I borrowed one from Auto Zone. And why didn't you buy brake pads that had the new shims and replacement parts with them?. And if that back pad was worn all the way down to the metal why didn't you take off the rotor and inspect that for damage?. I bet it needed turning!
Thank you for the video but I got a question I just finished putting the brakes pads and rotors but I screw up the piston boots ,, Which means It is cut into several pieces So do Ignore it or it will cost troubles?
Really should replace the boots on there because over time those boots cover up the rod which the pads slide back and forth on and over time that'll start to rust and your brake pads will hang up on that Russ as the calipers going in and out then you're going to wear down your pads quickly when they don't come back out after you apply the brakes and take your foot off the brake pedal. Any good Auto store is going to sell the brake pad kit that's going to consist of the the spring plates and the replacement boots.

Is It possible To lift up the front wheels In the Middle of the front axel. To me, if I use a lift from side it will be bent and rusting starts there... Does anyone know?
