I think all 3 rapture views are possibilities....we should hope for a rescue but prepare to go thru...and I don't think this preacher is saying we believers should hope to escape ALL A tribulation...
There are other biblical reasons for the possibility of a pre trib rapture ...( Rev 3:10, the 144k sealed and no other exempt from God's wrath Rev7, Rev 9 - all peoples remaining on earth DO NOT REPENTso where are the believers, The trumpets in the end time are 7 not 1 and others) Unfortunately this preacher doesn't put them forth.

Good arguments. I also find it hilarious that these people use the "we aren't looking for antichrist" smug argument, but then 95% of their "signs" they point to have to do with....the antichrist. Final comment brother. At the end you didn't notice that he went real quick over 1thess5: 1-6. If the believers are pretrib raptuered why is Paul telling the BELIEVERS that the day of the Lord coming as a thief won't be to the believers ? If the dayvof the Lord doesn't catch the living believers as a thief because they have the knowledge of the timing, why are the living believers here if they were taken previously?? Lastly I want to point out other scriptures which proves NO PRETRIB RAPTURE. 1. 1thess4: 15-17 the resurrection of the righteous believers happens FIRST BEFORE the catching up harpazo or rapture! 2. Rev20: 4-6 tells us the FIRST resurrection of the righteous believers includes martyrs of the tribulation refusing the mark of the beast making the resurrection of the righteous posttrib. 3. Daniel 12:2 Daniel is told of 2 resurrections 1 is the righteous into eternal life and the other is the condemned to eternal contempt. 4. Rev20: 4-15 only 2 resurrections the FIRST resurrection is the righteous into eternal life and the 2nd is the condemned to eternal contempt ( lake of fire). 5. The FIRST resurrection of the righteous includes martyrs of the tribulation refusing the mark of the beast making the resurrection posttrib yet the resurrection is before the rapture making the rapture posttrib. Matt24: 45-47 prepare spiritually for martyrdom and prepare physically supplies for the due season of the mark of the beast and antichrist and tribulation. To think of the false pretrib rapture doctrine. They use matt24: 42-44 no one knows the date or the hour and Jesus comes as a thief to sound like it's a secret. They say rapture and the day of the Lord is different because of Jesus coming as a thief. Notice scriptures easily show how using false definitions ! 1. 1thess5: 1-6 continuing the conversation Paul write for the day of the Lord comes as a thief. 2. 2peter3: 10 the day of the Lord comes as a thief 3.2thess2: 1-7 Jesus returns and gathers together all the righteous believers, called the day of the Lord. 4. 1thess5: 1-6 the days of the Lord will NOT overtake believers as a thief but the living believers will know the timing NOT THE DATE OR THE HOUR but the timing. How will the living believers be aware of the close timing of the Day of the Lord??? 1. Matt24: 15. Part of the timeline the abomination of desolation matt24: 21 tribulation matt24: 29-31 the 2nd coming the day of the Lord, resurrection, rapture, destruction of all evil on the earth, the kingdom of heaven on earth and Jesus begins his 1000 year rule over the survivors. Possibly mostly youth of every nation and those that didn't take the mark of the beast yet were not saved because of ignorance!! So the day of the Lord coming as a thief is connected.

Imagine in the moment of the twinkling of an eye being changed to a glorified body and being snatched up to Jesus as he is coming to Jerusalem, bringing the resurrected believers that just reconnected with their glorified bodies, we are all gathered together to Jesus and revelation 19 is unfolding before our eyes!!! In the matt25: 1-13 parable Jesus says a midnight cry awakens the foolish unprepared and the wise prepared to the fact that Jesus is coming very soon. The midnight cry is the revealing of antichrist causing the abomination of desolation. Ask a false pretrib rapture doctrine believers what is the midnight cry?? They have no explanation. Matt24: 15 abomination of desolation. Daniel 9:27 the abomination of desolation is caused by the Antichrist. Then you can match up to scripture 1. The revealing of antichrist causing the abomination of desolation has a timing. Daniel 12 says 1290 days. Rev13 the beast is revealed and is given 42 months ( 1290 days) which also connects to Rev5. the 1st seal. The rider on the white horse represents the antichrist revealed!
The list of false definitions includes this idea of Titus 2: 13 the blessed hope. It is not pretrib rapture but is the coming of Jesus, the resurrection and the rature, and the kingdom of heaven here on earth! Also using john14: 1-3 Saying Jesus was promising a pretrib rapture when Jesus promised to return and gather together all the righteous believers unto Himself.
The second point you bring up is the importance of Holy living. The false pretrib rapture doctrine believers think the holy living importance is because the rapture could happen any minute. Yet the many scriptures of the importance of getting saved and living everyday in Holiness is because no one knows their moment of death!! If you put off receiving the gospel of Jesus and repenting evil sin living Holy is just the normal lifestyle for a believer. Then if you don't and you die in your sins you will be lost. So again the false pretrib rapture doctrine believers use false definitions as the imminent rapture connected to living Holy everyday. The real satanic purpose for the pretrib is to keep the last days believers from preparing spiritually for martyrdom and prepare physically supplies for the due season of the mark of the beast and antichrist and tribulation. This is why Jesus gave the matt25: 1-13 parable of the foolish unprepared and the wise prepared!!
I don't know your understanding of the " MYSTERY" mentioned in 1cor15: 51,52 . My understanding is the mystery isn't resurrection and rapture! The mystery is the answer to the question of 1cor15: 35. How are they raised and with what body?? Now notice in 1thess4:13-17. The scriptures tell us that the dead righteous in heaven are returning with Jesus!! You must realize these are DISEMBODIED SOULS!! Back to 1cor15: 51,52 Paul is describing the dead corrupted bodies that are dust and ash are corrupted by death are changed! Jesus actually resurrects the dead bodies of the disembodied souls and they reconnect, this corruption must put on incorruptible!! The resurrection of the righteous. 1thess4: 13-17 the disembodied souls reconnected with the resurrected actual physical atoms and molecules of their dead bodies literally happens FIRST BEFORE the catching up harpazo gathering together or rapture! 1cor15: 51,52 gives 2 points of reference. 1. This happens at the Last trumpet rev10:7.and 2. This happens so fast in the moment of the twinkling of an eye! 1thess4: 13-17 so when Jesus returns right after the last sound of the trumpet, the resurrection takes place so fast in the moment of the twinkling of an eye then the living believers are caught up or raptured. Again in 1cor15: 51,52 the mystery of the actual change of the physical bodies of the living mortal believers, this mortal must put on immortality. Jesus said in John 11:25, 26 he that believes in me though he were dead yet shall he live( resurrection) and he that believes in me and is alive SHALL NEVER DIE( rapture). So the mystery in 1cor15: 51,52 is NOT the false pretrib rapture doctrine, but the explanation to the question of 1cor15: 35. This is one of the many false definitions that the false pretrib rapture doctrine believers use incorrectly!!
Preachers like this are the reason why they will cause some to depart from the faith when the pre-trib won't happen: 1Ti 4:1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; Because the "falling away from the faith" and son of perdition needs to be happen first: 2Th 2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; The proof of our faith has to come from endurance through temptations and tribulations, for many say they believe and love Christ, but quickly turn away like cowards when confronted with persecution. You are right on. The speaker is ignorant of the whole subject of the second coming. Start with Matt 13; 30 where the wicked are taken away. Lets face it, some evangelicals are sure that they will escape all persecution because they are more special than those people in China India and muslim believers who have been torchered and killed. Persecution is coming for Jew and genuine Christians in North America.
I cannot see your "falling away from faith" in scripture. I suppose this is theologie. There is something that holds back the development of evil. This is the spirit of Christ in his members. This power has to be removed from earth before the wrath of God and the Lamb undiluted can be poured out. Kyrie eleison!
What amazes me about those who love to refute or attack the idea that there could be a pre-tribulational rapture....is that they seem unable or unwilling to HOPE to miss the destruction to come, and that somehow their fellow believers who DO hope to escape are somehow "lesser". Shame on all who look down on other Christians this way. Jesus said that we ought to "pray that we be counted worthy to escape" the coming judgment. If you believe that you will be left here to face the horrors that God is going to bring, well, you're tougher than most. Good luck in surviving. But there is MUCH teaching than can be taken to imply that we DO have a way of escape. Just like Noah did. And please, seek fellowship with your other believers, and go lead someone to Christ. Stop attacking others who don't believe EXACTLY as you do.

Amen Brother. I believe in the pre-tribulation rapture because it lines up with all scripture, both the old and new testaments. It also lines up with God's character as a loving Father who so loved us that He gave His only son, Jesus to die in our place. I choose to serve Him now by doing what He asked us to do, share the gospel message with others and to look after those in need, the widows and orphans. James 1:26-27 If anyone thinks he is religious and does not bridle his tongue but deceives his heart, this person's religion is worthless. Religion that is pure and undefiled before God the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world.
God Loves us so much that he gave his only begotten son. He is love then why he would let his children to suffer from tribulation ? What good is there in the post tribulation rapture for God's children ?If God let us to suffer the tribulation ,if he didn't save us tribulation then God of bible is not good at all. You are absolutely wrong…worse yet, you’re ignorant David. You’re as ignorant as the “preacher” who is unable to communicate why the rapture is biblical in a systematic theological manner. In fact, the majority of the believers who embrace “the rapture” are also ignorant. The rapture is a result and not the cause. The ascension of the Holy Spirit is the primary event. HE will be taken away BEFORE the Man of sin is revealed. If the believers are sealed and indwelt by the Holy Spirit until the day of redemption (Ephesians 1), it follows that the believer is going where the Spirit is going…upward. The pre-Pentecost believers (not sealed) will not be raptured (non-Church members) at that time. You see, that’s the confusion that the “ministers of righteousness” who went to seminary (cemetery) propagated throughout the apostate churches. Stop listening to men and let the Holy Spirit through the Word of God direct you.
I won't spam the comments section this time, but I want to say a few things. 1. Thank you brother Charlie for your faithfulness to God in standing for the truth. 2. Your critiques are very good and show clearly that David Cloud does not use the Scripture to prove the pre-trib rapture. 3. I join you, as one who has many of David Cloud's books, has listened to nearly all of his sermons on SermonAudio, and gone to meet him in person, in calling David Cloud to renounce his false teaching of the pre-trib rapture and back it up with doing what he would expect anyone who taught falsely on something else to do, no matter the cost.
I do believe in a pre-tribulation rapture of the church, but it doesn't supercede my love for my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Here are a few pointers to look for in the scriptures, plainly written for all to see. Take the 2 rapture passages spoken by our Apostle to the gentiles, The Apostle Paul, written down for us in 1 Cor 15: 50-58 and 1 Thess 4:13-18. 1) Notice that when Jesus returns to gather the believers in the air He brings with him from heaven, those who have fallen asleep, the dead in christ, to receive their resurrected bodies. In 2 Corinthians chapter 5 verses 6 to 8 it reads: 6 Therefore we are always confident and know that as long as we are at home in the body we are away from the Lord. 7 For we live by faith, not by sight. 8 We are confident, I say, and would prefer to be away from the body and at home with the Lord. It is the souls of the departed saints that accompany Jesus from heaven. Parents, Grandparents, Sons and daughters, close friends and relatives. What an amazing time this will be, seeing not only our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, but loved ones who had passed away believing in Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour. Please notice that this is not the second coming of Jesus. In Revelation chapter 19, verses 11 to 21 Jesus returns to judge the whole earth, riding in on a white horse, accompanied by the armies of heaven also riding on horses. These are not the same event, no matter how you dice, slice, and splice these verses they don’t fit together. 2) Those who are still alive at the moment Jesus returns in the clouds will be caught up to Him so we will always be with the Lord. A generation that will not see death, as the Apostle Paul informs us our bodies are instantly transformed from being mortal to immortal. If you want a bibical example of this all we have to do is just have to look at Enoch, the 7th from Adam. Genesis chapter 5 verse 24: 24 Enoch walked faithfully with God; then he was no more, because God took him away. How about you? Are you walking faithfully with God? No where does the Apostle Paul mentions Jesus actually returning to the earth, both the dead and those still alive meet the Lord in the air and so we will always be with the Lord. 3) It all happens, so fast, in the twinkling of an eye, which is less than .25 a second. No one left on earth will either see or hear this event as it happens so fast. This is different than when Jesus returns to the earth and touches the mount of olives, at His second coming when every eye will see Him return. This is important for the Jews as when they see Him they will realize that Jesus was their Messiah (Zech 12:10-12). Rebuilding the third temple and resuming animal sacrifices will not save them, only believing in Jesus. Interesting it also fulfills what the Apostle Paul said in Romans 11: 25-27 that all Israel will be saved. 4) Therefore encourage one another with these words. As Christians are we encouraging one another? The return of Jesus should be what we all long and strieve for. Please I do not need to go through any part of the tribulation to prove my love for my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, nor should you. It is called a time of Jacob’s trouble or Daniel’s 70th week for a reason. The focus is on the nation of Israel and not the church. 5) Always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor in not in vain. We should be doing the work of the Lord now, sharing in our blessed hope, the return of Jesus with a lost and perishing world. Giving hope where there seems to be no hope, especially in these last days, while we still have time. 6) The sound of the trumpet of God, or the last trumpet in 1 Corinthians. So many make the mistake of putting this trumpet, with the seventh trumpet in Revelation chapter 11 verses 15 to 19. Notice in 1 Thessalonians it is referred to as the trumpet of God while in Revelation it is seven angels sounding their trumpets. The events happening when the 7th angel sounds the trumpet, do not line up with what takes place in 1 Thessalonians. Please read and compare the scriptures for yourself, especially the last part of verse 18 “and for destroying the destroyers of the earth”. Not happening at the rapture. How about giving me one scripture verse that indicates the church, the body of believers in our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ (consisting of both Jew and Gentile) is in the 7 year tribulation?
@@proveallthings_521Obviously you can't show the church in the 7 year tribulation by one verse, the same as I can't prove in a pre-tribulation rapture by one verse. I am open to any discussions on this subject, although I firmly believe that the scriptures point to a pre-tribulation rapture of the church, the body of believers in our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ made up of both Jews and Gentiles. It is because of the book of Revelation that I believe the rapture comes first. The anti-christ is revealed after the first seal is open. I am under the Lordship of Jesus Christ and not the anti-christ. By the time the first 4 seals are open over 1/4 of the world's population has been killed, due to wars, famines, pestilence and wild beasts (Rev 6:1-8). If I didn't believe Jesus was coming first for His church I would definetly be a prepper stock piling food, guns and amo, in an under ground bunker. Instead I want to be found doing the work of the Lord before he returns, helping out those in need while I still have time. I don't think Jesus would be impressed by me hoarding up food and supplies for my own use. 1 Peter 4:17-19 *For it is time for judgment to begin at the household of God;* and if it begins with us, *what will be the outcome for those who do not obey the gospel of God?*And “If the righteous is scarcely saved, what will become of the ungodly and the sinner?” Therefore let those who suffer according to God's will entrust their souls to a faithful Creator while doing good. His statement is wrong when he says, "The rapture occurs before the day of the Lord." In fact, the rapture occurs at the day of the Lord. In the New Testament, the day of Christ is synonymous with the day of the Lord, and we are gathered to Jesus at the day of Christ when the wicked will be judged. This is all found clearly in 2 Thessalonians 1-2.
