In theory this makes a lot of sense and seems doable, but then I consider that top tier is a 16v16 s***fest and by the time I flare 1 or 2 IRCCM missiles I have 124125 others on way. This is how it would look in an optimal scenario such as a 1v1 or 1v2 dogfight maybe, but beyond that with the current state of top tier it becomes near useless early on into the match imo.

Su25 is modeled far better than the a10 in the game. Personally I agree with their decision mainly because the premium a10 is 0% of a match against any enemy smart enough to dive straight down and gun them. Just sayin. But also I’ve had insane games on the premium a10 in air rb. So it’s 50/50 meh.

The neg G in plane like F-16 is unnecessary imo, also quite a few of these methods don't really keep mind trying to kill or runaway from the actual plane. I can flare 73s and magic 2s in 1 or two pops 9m take 3-4 with just keeping in mind on how the missile works and without these rolls and maneuvering.

I love the video, very informative. One caveat is you have to know when and where the missile is. This is best for Arcade. Not really suited for Sim.

Just play gripen Can't waste flares if you got like 700 of them. Its advantageous to use periodic flares to cover up tunnelvision and ambushes in tight dogfights. Enemies simply struggle to get a good launch on you!

Now that the Sabre and Mig-15 have moved down to 8.0 Air RB matches there get less uptiers making this thing a real competitor IMO. It has always been very strong in Ground RB too but doesn't have a solid lineup.
