Sure… to earn back the almost 200€ a year you spend on the subscription, you need around 5000€. So anything under 5000€ is a loss, meaning you only start earning on anything over that amount. 5100€ invested… you’re only really gaining anything on the 100€… peanuts. Or you pay 0€ a month and get 4% on Trade Republic. 🤷♂️
@@cenk82 oh, good catch. I hadn’t seen it’s limited to 50.000€ and you don’t earn interests over that… 😒 Also their card has a 1% cashback (Up to 15€ per month) lol…
Thank you. Im buying my first mace in a few days (6kg). My original plan was then to buy one of these after a few months, buy now no. Ill just get a 12kg steel mace, as soon as im able to do 10reps of single arm 360s. I really dont like the skin of my hands irritated in any way.
This absolutely matches our experience and impressions with this provider (Hamburg-Verona). Years ago we took the car carrrier train from Berlin to Munich (City Nightline) and this was another universe, everything was clean and comfortable and only a fraction of the current price. If you have a weak stomach you certainly need to avoid this company. The trains are in a very poor state and the cleaning efforts are like once a year at most. It is almost surreal that such a service is allowed to exist more than a few days. Hamburg-Verona-Hamburg will cost 2000€. Better drive back yourself and spend the money in a luxury hotel to recover a few days.
N26 bank in Berlin - CRIMINAL - STAY AWAY FROM THIS BANK! I used this bank for four years, with nothing but praise for them BUT THEN ! N26 bank confirmed to me on 19th Oct, 2022 that they had closed my account and that I had no access to my funds. I had submitted a transfer instruction in favour of my bank in the UK, which they initially acknowledged but then they claimed that they had found irregularities in the account. This was false, as my funds had been deposited by my Lawyer in Spain following the sale of my property there which he completed, acting as my Power of Attorney, with all due taxes etc paid and the whole transaction had been endorsed by the European Court at The Hague. I have requested details from N26 of what irregularities they had purported to have found but they are unable to do so, which is hardly surprising. The fluctuation in the exchange rate since my initial instruction has added a loss to me of more than €1800 which I would expect them to cover plus other bank charges, where I have had to access loans to fill the gap. They're aware that I am 84 years of age and the worry, stress and lack of sleep that they have caused me has had a serious effect on my health. This should also be compensated for. I reported the facts to BaFin (the so-called regulatory authorities in Germany) on four separate occasions between October and when they eventually replied in June, they turned out to be a waste of time Is this state aided theft? There are hundreds with the same problem.
There are many more exercises that you can do other than that one. It obviously wasn't designed for that. I've seen several videos of them training with the gada in India and not one of them was doing that. Mostly they just do the 360, but you can do curls, lunges etc. The "uncomfortable lever thing" is kinda exactly the point of it.
Nah - if you call it a "Gada" fine. But if you sell it as a "Mace Bell" then you should be able to do all regular mace bell exercises. If these limitations work for you, then fine. I love the looks and doing 360s with it. At least you'll know it doesn't perform as any regular Mace Bell before buying.
Danke.
Hauptsache Motorrad kommt ohne Schaden an.
@@vivashvanbhushan3422 in principle, yes, but in practice, no. As far as I know, a regular "Mace Bell" made out of metal will balance when holding it with one hand next to the weight. It's not the case with a Gada, which won't balance when holding it next to the weight, thus reducing the range of exercises you can do with it.
I haven’t written them directly. I’m leaving it open for potential customers to write them asking for feedback. Good idea though - I should forward it to them, let’s see what they say.
@@JanSapper I did get this answer when I forwarded your review: "Reviews are subjective and do not reflect the opinion of the majority of our guests. We transport aprox 10.000 cars per year and there are only a few reviews in the internet. We have many happy customers that travel with us every year. Unfortunately happy people do not take the time to write reviews but discontent people do. We have used the corona winter pause to work on the train conditions. For instance we have changed all wash basins in the WCs."
If a potential customer like you watches this video and says "I wouldn't like to sleep with open curtains like it shows in the video" they'd answer "most customers don't mind sleeping with occasional stroboscopic light effects!"? 😆 lol
And thanks for sharing! It's great to hear them claim they recently renovated the toilets... You can expect everything else from the video to be the same then.
So basically, the whole problem is the improper cleaning and repairing of some small details such as window rollos. And the exorbitant prices that UEx charges for this service. The cars could really be old (and they are - sleeping cars themselves were originally built in the 60s), but with a proper maintenance, they can be really useful. You need to know, that new sleeping cars aren't growing on trees, and are very expensive to build. The small companies like MSM can only afford second-hand rolling stock. Still, these old sleeping cars are very comfortable, they have bigger compartments as - for example - Nightjet sleeepers.
Not growing on trees... Hahah what business apart from agriculture works from things that grow from trees? 🤔 They get a very low grade for the execution - high potential though.
I can completely confirm your experience. Traincars seemed to be written off decades ago. We will not book it again. Thx for the video, a good documentation of what one has to expect when booking on train4you urlaubsexpress.... it is a pity because the idea is great.
It does scratch, but has fared better than any other plastic card. I've even placed it on the outside of my pocket and it has its marks. Not a problem though. I must say I've kept the metal card because of telephone support - I want to be able to talk to someone if anything goes wrong.
Apart from the bad level of service: What's the point in using the car carriying service? It is much slower and much more expensive than driving to the destination. Also, considering the 2.5 hours of waiting time, it is also boring. In 2.5 hours, one would cover more than 250 km's on an autobahn. When you account for the early arrival to the departure terminal and the time for the unloading procedures, it does not seem to save time because it is not an entirely overnight journey. So, what is the point?
@@JanSapper I don't 😄 Can you explain the situation with children? Don't they get bored and thus cry while waiting stationary in the terminal for 2.5 hours?
@@gokceaydin3324 Don't they get bored and thus cry while waiting stationary in the terminal for 2.5 hours? - correct. That's Sh*t! This video is made to show how shitty this is! When booking we didn't have this info. Had we known it, we would have only taken the car train one way: Hamburg-Munich. In Hamburg you simply hop on. That said, the concept of getting on the train, falling asleep and waking up in another city with your fully packed car is something anyone with children will appreciate.
@@JanSapper in Hamburg the train comes fresh from depot directly to the station, and luckily, this station (Altona) has integrated loading ramps at the end of each platform. So the train could be loaded while parked on the platform. In München, the "UEx Winter" comes from Austrian Alps. The cars need to be loaded and shunted to a waiting position before the arrival of the train. But you made a big mistake: you should have gone waiting into the main station building of München Ost station, instead of this little waiting room. There are many snack options and toilets, too.
@@markoobid2005 we didn't even enter that tiny waiting room. Went back to the main station where the only place we could get to sit down was being attended by a tipsy (maybe even fully drunk) waiter. We then simply walked around the rest of the time - the train station was also full of homeless and drunk people. So stopping to “relax” at any spot was not really an option.
I completely understand why this seems to be somewhat of a gimmick for most people. I am planning to go travelling for 3-4 months, so for me, this is perfect, mainly because of the insurance package. Its pretty comprehensive and well priced, and being a 'world elite' mastercard, it has many more benefits than listed on the n26 website. I'm still waiting for mine to come, but I'm pretty excited. Their customer support is fairly lacking compared to revolut and starling in my opinion, but it certainly gets the job done. And yes Ok, the metal card is pretty cool, and may have swayed my opinion a bit! Also FYI, the reason I did not choose revolut is because their travel insurance is only valid for a trip of 40 days or under. And the N26 metal card is just so much cooler, lets face it!
Charlie Rockingham hahah no prob. As they say we are the best at fooling ourselves. Have a look at the comment thread with SkyFlow - there are no real “world elite” benefits you can get. If you want the insurance benefits, and want to really get value then I’d recommend the black card. Not metal.
@@thebizness5596 It’s not useless though. you basically pay more for the better service, and with that comes the fancy metal card. It’s an advantage you get, both service wise as physically receiving something. I’ve got the metal card too and if your lifestyle is fitting within the benefits you get with this more expensive plan, it isn’t near useless as you’d think. Coming back at the comment of the other guys, don’t waste your time on such people, they’re just saying dumb stuff.
@@Leonn1606 I’d be curious to know what features are really worth the 16€… after my year of using it, even the travel insurance benefits were iffy… I can’t remember specifically, but if you read precisely what conditions need to be met for travel insurance to kick in, it becomes super limited. If I recall it correctly - if your luggage is delayed, and you need to buy new items, they will only cover items with a cost over a minimum threshold per item.
My gut tells me that they’re selling a gimmick just to get people to hand over their money to them. I know nothing about the bank but my gut tells me not to trust them.
@@Festaurin If you want the insurance product offering then go for N26 black, but I'd recommend you do some calculations to decide if it makes sense. Metal is a gimmick. And Avoid N26 Invest, it's not a serious investment platform!
Well idk. Sure you get the insurances with black as well, but, if you are a person that likes shopping, you also get some selected offers at selected partners, which could be kinda cool, I assume? @@JanSapper
Hey, I'm going to be staying at nido for 2 months over the summer. I've booked the corner room. The room allotted to me is 11.27. Is this video of the .27 series rooms and on which floor was this particular studio? And does it really take about a year for everyone to get their security deposits back? Any feedback on these issues or any other things I should keep in mind during my stay will be deeply appreciated. Thanks! :)
So how was your stay? I just know they didn't give a damn about us residents, as we already paid in advance, they knew we were leaving and the demand in London is simply huge.
I stayed there for a semester this year. This is a corner room so you usually don't get this when you stay there. My room was way smaller than this, although i was still ok with the size. It had the same view. You do expect better maintenance and quality furniture for the money you are paying, but lastly you will appreciate the privacy, location and the facilities they offer.
I want to complain on finance department of Nido Spitalfields. It is already a year I am trying to get my money back for my security deposit. NOONE answering my emails! And they do not call back! Most of people whom i know from Nido they also didnt get their deposit for year! It is unprofessional and irresponsible!!!
