Yes, but it also removes all the controls you don't put into the setup. For example, my old saber would bring up the menu if I held the button a fraction of a second too long (which annoyed the crap out of me!). Doing this simple setup removes the possibility of accidentially activating something you didn't mean to.
Got mine today and this has helped a lot as it’s very overwhelming with the stock settings. Quick question though, can I make a custom profile but with one colour that I select? Do I “use” that profile and then go into the other settings on the app to change colour? Also when I close the app, will that custom profile still be loaded onto the saber?
If you create a profile with limited controls (no font change) and you manually select a font it will always restart on that particular font. Now you can customize the blade color and style, it will also memorize it. The custom profile is loaded on the app and transferred to the saber (any saber you want). First version would memorize it after restart. But I noticed some exceptions so I can’t say how this will behave with the updates.
@@thesaberfactory appreciate the reply mate, I’m having issues with the charging at the moment. It says ready after about an hour and will last minutes so I’ve googled what to do and it said to take battery out and leave for a bit then put back in charge so fingers crossed this works. So once it’s charged up properly I’ll have a play with the app and follow your steps 🤙🏻🤙🏻
It’d be best to reach out to support via the chat on the website. Check your adapter power specs and send this info as well as description of the issue. Some SOCs tests can be run once we are sure it’s safe to test
I have a Xeno 3 saber (BASELIT) that I ordered from Amazon and it works perfectly, but I’m wondering how to convert it to Neopixel. Would I just need to buy a Neopixel blade?
I tried deleting 2 fonts using the app, but every time I scroll through the list it says "config or folder error" when I get to those two. How can I fix it?
Hello there 👋 I would be biased as I only distribute Nexus sabers and no TXQ. SNV4 Pro is brand new and has more features than Xeno3 but a new Xeno board is on its way and will obliterate SNV4 Pro. Xeno3 should be compared to SNV4 base IMO. Simply look at the app updates in the app store. Nexus is pushing updates way more often, they’re more reactive I believe and have bigger ambitions in terms of how they want to make the technology evolve.

Thank you so much for this tutorial man! I've just got my first XenoPixel V3 yesterday and while I love all the ways to customize and the different features, I wanted a way to create a simple setup like the one you just described! My old saber I was always accidentally engaging the menu or other features because I pressed the button for a second too long. This app setup eliminates that!
Literally same mate! Got mine today and it’s all so overwhelming!! Can I set just one colour with the custom setup? So when I turn on, it just goes to that one colour I picked?
@@DankPlankSam Don't quote me on this since it's all still very new to me... But I think it will stay the same until you change it, but also the color will change if you mess with the lighting and sound fonts. So you have to reset the color to what you want if you change the sound/lighting font.

Hey saber factory; question is the one flat mushroom looking screw freebie a covertec wheel or something else. (tfu2 saber & the learner saber has them)
I noticed that the circuit box section with the toothed grip on mine was wobbly so I tried to tighten the screw but for some reason the screw does not tighten anymore and just keeps going round and round. So now that section is not only wobbly but also slides off easily whenever I access the battery, it seems that the screw just does not reach the actual base of the hilt-is there any way to fix this? Ive been having this issue for about 3 days now. (Anakin EP 3 hilt btw, the one with the button near the bunny ears)
Hey Saber Factory, me again, the ring section of the ep III anakin hilt with the circuit board thingy was a little wobbly so I disassembled the thing to tighten it, but when I did I guess I tightened the screws a little too much because now they just screw in WITHOUT turning. More specifically the screw that holds the teethed section to the hilt itself and the shorter screw that holds the trigger thing behind the circuit board- is there any way of getting replacement screws and or parts to fix this minor inconvenience. Because now that section of the hilt is wobbly
I have the issue, took out my core to back up sd card, put back in the core, now lightsaber will only turn on and off by the swtich, no gyro works, so no twist to turn on, cannot use thr button to change fonts
Could be a corrupt sd card. For instance MacOs is known to leave invisible files and folders and Xeno3 doesn't like it. If you have this type of issues on a Mac you can use Blue Harvest app on Mac to clean your SD card of any invisible files. In any other case format the card and copy the backup on it. Check invisible files if you can. For more help go the support chat on our website and provide your order number, we can provide sd backups and support.
Does not work. Won't install aoundfobt to My S23 ULTRA, left for almost 2 hours and no luck. I notice when you click upload font, your shows the file when going to where it is on your phone. With Samsung click on it and won't find it.
So when clicking to browse your local files you don't get the system prompt with access to your files? Does this also happen when trying to load a single file in a font folder? Or is it that your folders don't show the zip file (then here it could be an OS limitation). Either way, let me know and I can always write a bug report and have it checked for future updates.
Using abdroid not ios using sansung s23 ultra. I can get to the zip, but seems through submenu. Download, compressed abd then shows the zip, select it, say error, and then says downloading, abd have had it sitting for 2 hours and just keeps saying loading
All i asked was for the module to be replaced but you insist on me having to get another phone to be able to video you the bluetooth issues, using the same phone the app is installed on. i shall not waste my money with this company again, and advise everyone to look at Theory Sabers as their customer service and quality of their sabers are leagues above this company.
They DON'T get tested, otherwise i wouldn't be sat here now with a faulty bluetooth module and terrible hiss coming from the built in speaker in the hilt. There are far better quality saber companies out there.
Issues for which you never wished to show any video for, so we are been unable to provide support. Everyone who asked for customer support has kindly followed the same basic steps for showing their case, and got the help they were looking for. We either help you fix it when it's software or user error, or we replace it. But so far you've only complained and requested, without ever following the support procedure. Eventually it's your choice, if you can't be convinced to follow the support procedure like everyone else, then you don't get sorted ;)
@@thesaberfactory How can i show you a sub par performing speaker, how can i show you the overall quality of the hilt compared to a lightsaber i purchased from Theory Sabers at a similar price. The quality overall and the fact that your Bluetooth module is cheap and disconnects every 30 seconds, is cause enough to make me want to send it back, but you ask for me to pay for the shipping costs, insure it for cheaper than i paid for it, suggests your company is not setup to do international business.
@@Davescowen you just simply follow through. If you can show that the sound is crackling or of very low quality it will come through the video. We can assess it this way. Same thing with bluetooth. If you connect to your saber as it is intended to, and show us that even in this fashion it doesn't work properly, then we can troubleshoot and either make it work better or consider it's beyond QC tolerance and needs to be replaced. I've never had this much trouble getting someone to show what the problem is. People usually either understand the support is available to solve their issues or just go about their life. But here I find myself pushing again and again and again to get you sorted where I could simply ignore you all the way through since it's going nowhere. So at some point, please recognize that the support is available to you, take it kindly and just quit this nonsense. 99% of saber companies (and I'm not saying 100% just because there might be just one or two who can afford) will not sponsor a return but will provide full warranty replacement if the product issue is confirmed. Most stores like mine are small companies. Offering free international return, no reasons asked, is super expensive and ends up allowing some people to rent a lightsaber for an event or a convention for just their initial shipping cost of around 30$. And it ends up costing hundreds to the store owner. So either you pay a VERY steep price for your saber and get services like free return label, or you get a good bargain but if you change your mind you pay it out of your pocket. We're not all amazon or alibaba. If you feel more confortable using these massive marketplaces, be my guest. You mentioned TheorySabers, their sabers are 20% to 50% more expensive than ours and there's no evident return policy except in their Terms of Service where it's mentioned they may refuse the return, only give you store credit for it and have you pay for shipping. Confirming what I'm saying. Still, I insist, in case of warranty need, we follow through. Based on a due process you just have to agree with and provide the necessary elements for. It's got nothing to do with our return policy.
I have given up on your company, and have chalked this down to a bad purchase. I shall continue to leave bad reviews in the hopes that others do not make the same mistake i have. The quality is sub par in every area of the build compared to the other companies i have mentioned. And you know this!
Thats cool so can add soundfont now easy, so wont much up my SD files then that are on there? so can add or remove them easy enough. There are places you can download sound fonts, and the zip contains lots of sound files within. Do I just let it copy the zip file to the SD card then? through the app? or unzip file and just copy straight to SD card?
