I have an Atem mini pro iso that I use for podcasting. I have three cameras going into the Atem at 4k but the Atem only produces a 1080p resolution. Can I use this to upscale the 1080 to 4k so that the final video is actually recorded in 4k?
Your video sold me on the product just put in an order! Vouldve saved me 20$ had i watch this first instead of just buying a hdmi splitter straight out 😂
At the 6:34 mark after the hdmi is negotiated, the screen goes dark & when it comes back, the aspect ratio changed. The image is no longer taking up the full screen. Why is that? Want to use this to send the audio to a Sonos amp located in an AV rack in my network closet. Is there a version of this that also support PoE or PoC as you refer to it so I only need to power one side?
In theory it should give us 120hz 4k, so as long as your gpu is strong enough the frame rates will be the same and there should be no difference between using this over a direct hdmi cable... I'm looking at buying this for the same reason as in pc in the loft and TV at the other end of the house. Don't forget to get a usb hi over ethernet as well as that will allow you to run Controllers, keyboard mouse etc at the other end.
@@TboneDuggins in my setup. The gaming PC is in the loft 3 floors up the screen that needs the picture is in a room at the other end of the house. Each room is wired with 4 cat6a cables. Each room was also wired with fiber optical hdmi cables. However 1 room cable was damaged during the build. To get video over ethernet you need to use something like this. But for the PC I also need to get wireless keyboard mouse as well as gaming controller like xbox controller access. So you get usb over ethernet. Usb cable to pc that connects to a usb over ethernet connector. Cat6a cable to connect the two modules. The module that goes into the TV room has 4 usb ports. So I use these ports to connect the xbox wireless controller adaptor. Or I can put in a BT USB dongle. Iv now got usb in that room.
Exactly what I did and no video. Im able to use the keyboard and mouse except the video. Computer to sender with regular HDMI cable coming from GPU 3060 RTX into the HDMI IN slot on the sender. Same goes to the USB cable that came with it into my PC USB port. Used a Ethernet CAT .6 cable to send to receiver port. Used an standard HDMI to my monitor and plugged in my usb connectors (keyboard, mouse). Im able to control keyboard and mouse but no video. Ethernet cable is not longer than 70 meters. Tried it to a TV and nothing as well.
My search for KVM over IP continues. Very confusing terminology referring to "KVM over x". Very few solution so far for KVM over IP that includes 4k@60HZ. I see "Over ethernet" and think finally, but nope. Still "HDBaseT". I don't want to run separate lines just for this.
