Hi. I love your extenders / matrix units but I have a question. Is it necessary for the matrix / balun to be on either side of a single CAT cable, i.e. point to point, or can the system work through a switch? I have one CAT 6A cable going from the loft to the kitchen, and at the kitchen end there is a small switch so I can share the connection between a TV, a smart speaker and a camera. Can the balun be connected through the switch or does your system require a dedicated cable for every extension?

Hi Marco I am writing from Italy I wanted to ask you about this switch with regard to the outputs. I would like to connect to this switch my LG Oled TV where I have connected all the consoles, the oppo player etc. to the switch via hdmi earc and then my JVC exofield headphones via the earc input so as to play everything, and then importantly if it would be possible via hdmi out 2 instead of another monitor, my Sony A8A amplifier so as to transport the dolby and dts audio to one of the hdmi inputs of the amplifier! Is it possible? Or does hdmi out 2 not allow it? Does this switch play Dolby Atmos? Thank you very much for your support I hope you can answer me! Thanks Marco
You guys should make one of these but smarter. Make it automatic...or use AI so it can remember what the user does and it automatically knows what youd do and picks it for you.
