I worked at the Adamstown hat factory in the summer of 1966 with my two best friends We worked the second shift. After work we drove down the hill to a drive inn. Burgers French fries, choc.. shake. Had a girl, Patty, love you too! On Friday, after work the company hosted a discount hat store for its employees . I could buy a beautiful felt hat cheap. Best to all of you who stayed and made the best hats in BBC the world ! PS - My job was to help in the dye room and also shaping the crowns Thank you for the post that awakened good memories for now, an old man. I wear a Stetson by the way.
