I had a teacher just like this. She was straight out of college, and all she wanted was the paycheck. She was a living Hell. She finally got outed by a student, and got reported to the principal. She was fired by the end of the school year. Keep in mind she worked with children. Unacceptable on every level.

I like how she was completely wrong in every regard but she, as expected, childishly refused to let him have the last word. Even then, every clapback she used had no substance whatsoever. That's why you don't teach if you don't enjoy it. It's a field that pays horrible wages, you can't expect to become a teacher if you're only in it for money.
I can tell a lot of people in these comments are entitled af and don't even realise it. This is literally only a 1st world problem, where students and parents complain about being given a 'packet' i.e. A WORK SHEET of INFORMATION to LEARN from. Kids that can't afford education in 2nd and 3rd world countries would be grateful to even get a concise information sheet for them to learn from. What more are you looking for? People saying this teacher deserves to be fired - instead of blaming OVERWORKED and UNDERPAID teachers of a system, who are not respected by either students, parents or employers, BLAME THE AWFUL SYSTEM. NOT THE OVERSTRESSED TEACHERS. I guarantee, if any of you from US, UK, Canada, or any other priveledged country, had to PAY for your education, you would not have this kind of attitude towards your teachers and your own learning.
Awesome young man! 👏 I don't know him but I'm proud of him and I hope and pray his parents, family and other REAL AND DECENT teachers and authority figures in the school and Board of Education is too! If they gave him a hard time, like that teacher, trying to shut him up and kick him out of class, then they are not worthy of their job. This young man will be an outstanding leader of some kind and will be successful at whatever he has decided to do with his life. I realize this was years ago. I'm gonna look for an update on where he is today. I'm looking forward to seeing where he is and what an amazing impact he is making in whomever's life he is in and a part of. His boldness, wisdom and integrity is not very common now days with this generation of today.
