3:28 This like that Bob Ross moment when you think the painting is done and then he does something that looks like its going to mess everything up, but it actually makes the painting even better.
EoM Myster he means that there will be other people doing the same thing charging the same price so if he charged $25 people will go to people charging $20
He could probably do about 10 of these in an hour, which would come to $200 an hour, if he did that for around 5 hrs a day he’d be making £1000 every single day, which is pretty decent
This type of art is one of my favorites because it takes time before you see what it is he/she is trying to make. It's not right off the bat "Hey! You're drawing New York!" It's more "What the heck are you dra- OOOOOHH I SEE NOW." Ya know?
Rybellious I had someone do this for me when I was in New York City, and man, it looked better than a Picasso drawing. It really brings the pictures to life.
Did anyone else almost scream when he started scraping at his work but then realized what he was doing? It looks amazing, too bad the lady was so rude and unappreciative
MeliorismJass it's not being rude it's just a British accent .plus she even used her manners like pls and thank you .so don't talk if u don't know. I guess u Americans think British ppl speak rudely.
Ive seen this type of art on Fremont st in Vegas countless times and all i can say is i get mesmerized every every time!! Thank u artists for giving a grand amount of whimsy!!!
Imagine if ya put a decent air brush in his hands!!! That's what I am buying next. Ya can drop a hundred bucks on paint every week, and half of em clog up. I've been doing galaxies for about a year...the more intricate designs are awesome!!! I don't care if I sell any I do them cuz I am an Artist and I love what I am doing!
Maybe next time ask for a pony or a princess and not say "make it purple and pink". That dude just put the work in on this and you don't even like it? I'd pay like 40-50 (I'm cheap) for that. It's fuckin majestic.
1UPGamR I think you don't understand what I'm saying. When the guy showed her the picture she asked for she said "I don't like it sorry." Art takes time and talent this dude has a lot of talent to make a picture like that in that amount of time. She said she didn't like it and then they put it on sale for $20 since she didn't want it. I know because I've actually been to a spray painters show if the person that asked for it doesn't like it they put it on sale for $20.
Fall Star The woman didn't say "I don't like it sorry." 1UPGamR is correct cause if you listen closely to the audio, two women are speaking, one says "If you don't like it then I'll have it," then the other woman responds "No, sorry" and starts to giggle with her and the artist. Even if she had said that she didn't like it, do you really think that the artist would be giggling along with her and at the same time be applauded as he proudly showed off his work? Don't get me wrong, the artist did an amazing job and I agree with you that it takes a lot of skill draw that, but I don't think the woman said that she didn't like his work.
When that guy took away the circle things and made the skyscrapers I was like WTF MAN MY MIND DOESNT ALLOW THAT TO BE PHYSICALLY POSSIBLE NO I COMMAND YOU TO STOP AHHH *mind blows* *dies*
Nam Do alot of street space artists do this , it looks better than normal paintings comparing a 6 minute painting to a 6 minute space spray painting but it is a fairly easy skill to pick up.
how could anyone dislike this this is truly amazing artwork and people need to see real artwork for what it is this is truly magnificent and awesome already a subscriber
That’s the British public for you. I’m British myself but I’m not the stereotypical “oooo let’s have tea and biscuits”. I hate people like that very demanding. Like when she said “there isn’t going to be much colour is there” already assuming it’s gonna be bad when she asked for 2 damn colours and didn’t know what other colours to go with. I hate people like that.
The talent of this person is just out of this world!!! such a wonderful piece of art that too in merely 6-7 mins....... hats off sir!!!! Its just unbelievable😍😍😍
Falgor n But not many people practice art, many things are difficult to make, every drawing in a museum is difficult to make, and maybe with some practice we can all do it too.
Despite how amazing the art turns out, the method is extremely easy to learn. My sister picked up this art style in a matter of weeks when she was 16. Granted, it took her about 30 minutes to do what took him 6, and art does come naturally to her. I guess what I'm saying is that if this kind of art could get you a gig above street level, there would be so many people doing it there wouldn't be enough demand to meet the supply.
Sydney Norman Actually, some people are naturally talented at it. Ir doesn't mean that other people are bad, and everyone, with hard work and patience, can get amazing at something but people can find it easier than others.
I WAS THERE I SWEAR TO GOD I was on vacation and I actualy got one of these for 20$ i still have it to this day it's sits on my shelf this was posted the same year I got it and I remember the voice
These videos are always so satisfying to watch! I just went to Nyc for the first time a day before writing this comment. I wish I saw street performers!
