Hello, if I may make a suggestion, the way you started your video with a "what's up everybody" scream, is not you, I don't know you at all, but it did not feel like you. I feel a lot of people are using Peter McKinnan's starter, but it's is unique to him and for him it sounds good,for everyone else it does not. In your case you're a beautiful woman who doesn't strike me as agressive and that starter sounds a bit too aggressive. I suggest you find yours, you didn't need that to grab attention, in fact, when I heard it, it was so unexpected that I jumped away from my screen and wanted to turn the video off. The rest of your video sounds exactly how I thought of you (described above), stay true to yourself. Thank you for this video! 💮
I appreciate the video, but it went way too fast for me to follow you. I'm not Squarespace or computer savvy and I'm confused when it came to hooking up the lead magnet to Squarespace. I'm confused about the clickthrough URL. I don't have anything on 7.1 that looks like that. When I clicked my magnet file, it pulled it from my laptop. I'm not sure how to get it onto the website without it pulling from my laptop if that makes sense.
Question, you still have the Opt-in and Lead Magnet links in your navigation bar on top...I assume these shouldn't stay here? Can you explain the step in removing these from your main site?
I am currently working on my website and getting really frustrated. When will you stop with the spacer bars and just let us resize the picture itself? The spacer bars are the biggest pain in the ass to use. That is the only problem I have with squarespace. The spacer bars never seem to work the way you want. Grrr!
hi, I am new to acuity, my clients are booking their membership packages and not registering an account, so how do they register an account after they have paid? When they try to use their credits it says not username not recognised, and there is no where I can see that says register your account? Do they need to book another class to get the register account? thank you

Wonderful video! Thank you. I can't see why people won't just click on the "Opt-in Lead magnet" and skip giving over their email address. I tried to hide that button but it doesn't work. Got a bit confusing there. Thanks for any guidance. What would you call it really instead of "Opt-in lead Magnet?" That sounds a bit cold! :)
For anyone coming to this comment with the same question in 2024, you have to create the page with the actual pdf file under the NOT LINKED pages section, that way it doesn't show up on the navigation bar. Hope this helps!
How would you advise to set up a service based business where clients need to pay a small deposit before the service is given and than the balance when it is over? Any way to make it as automatic as possible? Thank you :)
Yep! A couple ways. The first one I think of is you can have a welcome email trigger with a special discount code to your shop. Are you looking for something more automatic?

Yes I was thinking that I would like to set up a discount code that’s given to people who just subscribed to my newsletter, is there a way to have that email sent automatically with squarespace mailing system to people who just joined? What you would want to do is go into the email campaigns in your site create a new one that is automatic and you will link it to the newsletter block that you put in for new subscribers. In the email you can tell them the special code for them to use that you create in your commerce section.
Hi Elizabeth great video...can you offer me any advice regarding a problem i am having with Scheduler. For example my appointments calendar shows only one available time slot to book which I know I am available for the whole day. I tried to solve this through SS but unsuccessful so far.
