The first one was probably due to Carbon Monoxide poisoning which makes people do weird stuff but it is 100% possible it was something else but also that wouldn't explain why everyone would do the same thing.
😂I personally suspect ergot poisoning although the experts have debunked it saying that there was no history case of gangrene therefore no ergot poisoning. Still today no one has an answer or explained what might have happened. The s druid were not elves or any other being not unless you are talking about the old gods. They left out the British Druid Order and American druid as well. What about reconstructionist. They are left out. Other than that this is spot on.

You are dead right. Excuse the pun . As far as glistening eyes in European countries in order to sell rotten fish they put lemon 🍋 in the fish eye to make it look freshly caught .
