Excellent tutorial. I really like your style of teaching, it's veey clear and easy to follow. Very user friendly. Thanks brother for your time. Well done 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Wow did you go to broadcasting school or work in radio? Your voice strikes me that there was something like that in your past.... had a run in with some glass and never really messed with FP too much cause of the nerve damage but fun to start working on it!
Yup one and walk a chicken... its like aerobics.... checking out campbell with just guitar and he started with straight 8s strums and then varied it up finger pick and strum and some different patterns sounded great, good voice. Over all, one and walk a chicken went along with the tune well though
Yes, follow Rick Beato, always a Glenn Campbell fan and this song is amazing...........now can't wait to hear your rendition. I'm sure it's amazing.......
Hey Shane love your videos they help me a lot great stuff , you may of done this one before , but I would like you to do hotel California, I love playing this song but i haven’t seen any online , thanks
First timer on your channel and you're a great teacher. I'll be playing Lineman this July 4th for some folks toasting Old Glory and digging it thanks to you Mr Work. Plus, that wacky C bar chord is in the chorus of The Story In Your Eyes by the Moody Blues, a reminder there. That'll be on the set list now too. I wish the world would decide that Wichita Lineman was the only "on hold" music. Too many abuse it trying to annoy folks into hanging up... like those 3 digit calls for city services
You should do a lesson on another great song...Arc Angels Living in a Dream.Theres a couple out there but they are not very good.I don't ever want to put anybody down but you would get some feedback doing that one.✌
Happy Canada Day, Shane. My son has been playing this song frequently on his tablet. I wasn't expecting you to have done this one. Lo and behold, here it is. Now I have another one to work on. Thanks.
Would help if u put chords at the btm of the screen rather than callem out so we can see what's coming up...would make a smoother transition...just an idea....can't always hear u over my playing...what can I say I'm half deef lol
Once again I put the guitar down for a while, but when ever I get inspired to pick it up again you're my go to guy for learning a new song. Tom Petty ranks very high. Thanks again for your great teaching.
How I wish you had zoomed the position of the pick in the middle finger and thumb. I like the idea of playing from there. A beginner here. Thanks for making this video
On this video, this is the best angle to show on your lessons to actually see the fingerings of the chords.I can actually learn more from this view... Thank you for your excellent guitar lessons. ..
I'm on day two watching this video. I remember back in the late 60's to early 70's, I watched the Glen Campbell Good Time Hour every week. Great TV show. BTW: you have a great voice.
Hey thank you Rodger - that really me as me a lot to me - Glen Campbell was a gentleman - and one hell of a guitar player/singer. My best to you and thanks for always being here. 😊🇨🇦👍
A most perfect lesson on this and I love your great vibes my friend. New sub and like. There's a version of it up here with Allie and Jacob over in Dublin I think that I watch quite often, the guy just blows it out of the park and it warms my soul. In just a few minutes you have me, on old hack with little skills, strumming along with a big smile to start my day. I do still want to try and learn a little of the lead going further down the neck, we'll see on that. Thank you!
Kind of an emotional song for me. Reminds of when I was young and my dad drove me on my paper route when the weather was bad. He’d be listening to the radio this was one of those songs from that era. And such a melancholy vibe to this song. Lost my dad 4 years ago. Every time I hear this song I think of Dad. Thanks for sharing Shane, love this song.
Shane, just watched this tutorial on my sun lounger in Mauritius, wishing I had my guitar …now can’t wait to get home to Newcastle to download your song sheet. Incredible!
Very pretty song! Familiar with Glen Campbell but not really his music, so adding this to my song list! Thanks for new video - I really enjoy learning and playing through these with you ❤
Shane, this my favorite song of all time! What a great lesson you just gave, guess I’m gonna have to oil up the axe and give it a go!! Thanks for all of your lessons they’re the best!!
