So my questions are; Does the racechip work best matching the car modes or do the racechip modes work great with all the car modes? Also.. Regarding the issue of Bluetooth connectivity interference: I never noticed that to be a prominent thing, if ever at all, and I utilized that mode of net connectivity to my car daily. For marching the car modes: yes it does just fine as the chip itself is just a piggyback unit, stepping in as…say a mediator between the vehicle’s own ECU/ECM. Appreciate the video, agree the 24 month upgrade policy sucks. But, if you were able to get the reprogramming, would you have put it in your new car? You had nothing but great things to say on the first video with the other car about the performance. I don't switch cars often, maybe every 5 years, just bought a Ford Edge St and ordered the GTS as recommended for amount I was willing to pay, what I wanted performance wise etc.

Lol no hate taken, Bruv and what 335 are you talking about? This is the facelift C43 that makes 385/384. It’s an AMG and is supposed to be one. OF course if you've never taken one and actually driven it to its full potential, you're going to comment and say what you did; I don't even blame you. Literally all of the AMG C class models are going to feel like a C300 under light use; that's what they are based on; that's Mercedes-AMG's M.O. They've done this since their inception, even prior to being an official subsidiary of Mercedes back in 2017. Now that they've been Mercedes-AMG for a hot minute, this C43 which started as the C400 (pet project car) then to this final iteration has run it's course and earned that AMG badge they chose to put on it. I don't see BMW or Audi doing that...because they aren't. Their cars are copycat "light" models. I've driven them and there's a good reason this makes more power, albeit on paper but also in actuality when comparing stock to stock. Thanks for watching!

I’m so late to this response! If you’re still looking, I’d say go for it if you’re not gonna change cars in the next couple of years (I made a new video of my disappointment with RaceChip). Otherwise - the gains I noticed when I did have it across two cars prior to getting my current AMG C43 FL (hah another set of new recent videos) was fantastic. Years ago, I had a Racechip pro 2 (old model) plugged into my Mitsubishi. It worked a treat. On the warranty/paperwork which came with it, the reprogramming t&c’s were clearly stated. I knew the reprogramming thing was a mostly a con to boost sales, much like one of those “million mile” warranties you get on some car parts. After 3 years, when I sold the car, I could not complain much about the chip now being useless - it had done it’s job for the application I bought it for. I sold it online for a reasonable loss and moved on. All of the best with your AMG. It’s quite the machine.
Thanks for your comment! That’s good to know now that their reprogramming does work with some cars. With the facelift C43, I know they revised the engine and changed some mapping stuff with it and the transmission. Thanks for the best regards; this car is truly a beast. Your diverter valve is trying to let off the excess air but can’t cuz it’s recirculating instead most do a crush mod or replace them with a vent to atmosphere blow off valve for that reason back pressure or air back into the turbo is bad for its health

Hah I’m also imagining this is because with the RaceChip, the added thrill of the ride negated any economic style driving urges if that makes any sense. Right on and I’m glad I eventually got to see this comment from you! I HIGHLY appreciate your support and thanks for the appreciation on my content here 👊. Hmmm…nothing to watch out for; no real concerns from me other than one thing. On my C300, I asked RaceChip to update the firmware and send out a slightly more aggressive tune and they did so within very little time. In fact - I wasn’t even ready for it as it was recommended that I go get at least a K&N drop in filter to accommodate for the increased aggression. Well, the vehicle has had that tune on it for almost a year now and I love every second of gapping things (picking and choosing my battles of course lol) that I have no business gapping with a C class. What vehicle did you put yours on?!
Hey bro I got a 2009 a4 Quattro right so here’s the thing I just ordered a diverted valve spacer and blow off valve kit . I plan on getting this and an intake next . My question is with the bolt ons will I run into issues and should I upgrade my exhaust next . I’m looking to get just a little bit more power like close to 300 crank with out sacrificing too much
you have a 250 or amg 45 ? if you have the cla 250, would sport mode on the app be considered comfort on the car and race mode be considered sport on the car??
Did you not say around 2 mins 40 secs you wanted to thank race chip for sending you out a unit? You didn’t say you bought it then and it would seem like a very odd thing to thank a company for actually sending out something that you purchased???
@@Classicman.43 From the way that you phrased the statement in the video it gave the impression that you were thanking the company for sending you one, ie that it was a gift. Most people do not thank companies for just actually fulfilling their end of a transaction by posting something to the customer after a payment has been made. That is the least that they are required to do. You also have replied to another person further down that your “good friend” works for them and can retune the chip online as it made no difference on his G30 BMW.
