Shout out from Australia. Hey just have a couple questions that I hope you can answer. I'm hovering over the buy button but just not sure yet. So my questions are; Does the racechip work best matching the car modes or do the racechip modes work great with all the car modes? Also.. I've heard it interferes with being able to use your phone for music, is this true? Thanks mate I really appreciate it.
Hello, and thanks for stopping by from AUS; super cool! I appreciate your support. Regarding the issue of Bluetooth connectivity interference: I never noticed that to be a prominent thing, if ever at all, and I utilized that mode of net connectivity to my car daily. For marching the car modes: yes it does just fine as the chip itself is just a piggyback unit, stepping in as…say a mediator between the vehicle’s own ECU/ECM. Though as a word of caution against RaceChip, unless they’ve recently changed/improved the nonsense I’ve discovered after being blessed with the opportunity of upgrading vehicles, Invite you to watch my updated take on them here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-JSZkw393B5o.htmlsi=sBYncfh4nL64n414 - Thanks again!! 🤙
Haha yeahssirrr! Thanks for your support. I’ve since been blessed with the opportunity of moving up twice and am now in my dream car: C43 Facelift; recent videos with it! How is the tune going for your Abarth? Those things are sick. So cool. 😎 👊
awesome vid bro. just ordered mine. i got a 2018 black cla 250 4matic. love it :D might need to go to a place to install it. I dont wanna mess anything up unless it's brain less installation
I’m just now seeing this! Thanks for your support on the vid; VERY much appreciated. Did you get it yet? For me, it was a super easy installation, Bro. Just two connections.
@@jdizzle18diz yea its pretty good. Running a 5.1 sec 0-60 and the turbo sounds better. But tbh you dont really feel the difference that much but it is 100% making you faster
I’m so late to this response! If you’re still looking, I’d say go for it if you’re not gonna change cars in the next couple of years (I made a new video of my disappointment with RaceChip). Otherwise - the gains I noticed when I did have it across two cars prior to getting my current AMG C43 FL (hah another set of new recent videos) was fantastic. Thanks for watching and for your support!
Your diverter valve is trying to let off the excess air but can’t cuz it’s recirculating instead most do a crush mod or replace them with a vent to atmosphere blow off valve for that reason back pressure or air back into the turbo is bad for its health
Hello and thanks for watching! I don’t have this car anymore, but from what I can recall: no significant gains in eco mode were noticed. Hah I’m also imagining this is because with the RaceChip, the added thrill of the ride negated any economic style driving urges if that makes any sense. Are you considering getting one, and for which car if you are?
Yes. Please watch my latest video on this subject and I appreciate your support! I ask that you disseminate the information presented. I’d shy away from this company as much as possible Buyer Beware with RaceChip *DON’T GET YOUR MONEY STOLEN* ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-JSZkw393B5o.html
@@Classicman.43 So I got the GTS black and I'ma be honest I don't think I really notice a difference. I'm fairly certain I installed it correctly and I have 93 octane fuel. According to their webpage, I should gain at least 63 HP. I feel like that should be night and day, but it just felt more responsive, nothing crazy. I'll update if I can figure out whats up
@@Classicman.43 I had it on 6 which was what Race mode set it on, then I bumped it to 7 which I think is the max and not too sure if I felt the difference. When I did that, my Audi popped a CEL so I'm gonna chill with the chip for now and hopefully fix the error codes on my engine first
He’s running stock he said “I’m not to well versed on diverged valves” and “explain it to me in the description” if he’s not joking that’s kinda sad, it’s really simple and straightforward…
The CLA does weird things with its DV valve. I know how they work; you’re right: very straightforward. Which is why I was confused as to why that car used it the way it did.
Just curious, how come it’s short shifting? Are you in manual? Very seriously considering the same tune for a c250 coupe and would like to see it hit 6k rpms
@@Classicman.43 or when some1 is close from the back lol..gets anoying after specially if it's a bigger vehicle I own a gle63s amg and it drives me nuts at times...is the chip really worth the $..im not a race type gut but like quick acceleration...
@@HtownPallets Oh, I got rid of this but have a C300 4Matic AMG Line now. It’s a little less buggy with this one but I know what you mean! Lol it has me looking for what it thinks I was about to hit sometimes; maybe ghosts are real! 😂. But yes I do think it’s worth it! Especially on Mercedes; dunno why that’s the case. But I’ve heard from some Audi owners that they don’t notice much of a difference.
