Just your average bass fisherman sharing my experiences and knowledge as I learn it. Covering everything from fishing North Texas lakes, boat maintenance, and random things I think you may find interesting or fun.
I had new tires place on my truck 4 months ago and still no problems. I put on the Nitto Recon Grappler A/T to my truck and they look great. 285/55/R20.
OEM Wranglers are disgusting loud. Every owner of an AT4 or Trailboss that has them that is the first thing they want rid of. Mine SCREAMED at 50-60mph. I put on Recon Grapplers. No noise and been great so far.
I still have them on and have had not problems. I had new tires put on my truck around 4 months ago and again, have had no problems. I pull my boat long distances also without issue.
I got one 3 years ago and is broken on the main post welds. This from just regular use going up and down highways to the lake. Absolute junk!. Buyer beware!
I know that this is an old thread, i have a 2022 mustang gt 5.0 premium with 19" tires all around with 1.5 inch spacers rear and 1.25 inch fronts, I experienced no issues, i purchaed the quinn digital torque adapter from harbor freight, spacers are torque to 130 ft. Lbs, and rim lug nuts are 150lbs, no vibrations no issues, i recommends purchasing spacers from American muscles, or CJ pony parts, i also advised to retorqued the lugs every 50- 80 miles, just for closure qnd precautions depending on road conditions/pot holes, un even pavement ...other then that, i have no complaints
Thanks for the video man. Looking to do the same to my 2021 Trail Boss. Have you had any issues with the tires kicking up debris and messing up your paint on the body (after installing the spacers)? I've heard that can be an issue.
I still have them on. I also increased my tire size so they stick out a bit more. I haven't had any issues with my paint. I wash my vehicle weekly by hand and havent seen any chips or scratches. I do know that when I run in dirty water, it does splash onto my truck more than it used to.
I got these for my 4runner and the little clips that hold the cover to the caliper are rubbing on the outer edge of the rotor. Took em off next day. Vid on my channel of the rubbing noise. They did look sweet though, but.......if these come off while ur going 50mph, ur rims are gonna get destroyed. Probably rip ur valve stem off and possibly smash the brake lines. Just not worth the risk for me
How these holding up so far? I just purchased a set for my 17 silverado, got aftermarket wheels coming with a -25 offset so I’m hoping there isn’t any issues with the fitment with these. Great video thanks
