At French Moments we have a little thing for France … ok maybe a big thing. What started as a blog to share some cultural pages and things about France for our language students turned into a huge resource which we’re dedicated to continuing and making available to everyone that is interested in this beautiful country. The French Moments team is dedicated to sharing the French culture through their dynamic website, blog and RU-vid channel. A large resource of cultural articles, photos, recipes and travel information is continually being built with free access for everyone! We manage three blogs: 🇬🇧 for English-speakers: frenchmoments.eu 🇫🇷 for French-speakers: mon-grand-est.fr (Eastern France). 🇫🇷 for French-speakers: destinationangleterre.com (South-East of England)

Saint Saturnin les Apt a l’air d’une bien paisible bourgade , mais j’ai surtout été impressionnée par le site du castrum , le barrage et la vue incroyable qu’il y a là-haut . L’effort pour monter là-haut en vaut la peine !

I can not see the charm of this village. I would feel suffocated to live there between high walls with no gardens, parks only narrow streets. Thank you for the visit. I do not think I would ever go there. I wouldn’t like it not for a vacation or any short period of time.
We always choose to stay outside the historic villages, not least for the reasons you have given. That said, as soon as you leave the old village, you come across a large number of Provençal villas surrounded by greenery - it's a completely different environment!
I've been waiting a long time to create and publish this video of a 2CV scenic drive we took in Provence last autumn. I was wondering where the charming village of Ansouis is? Did Piere forget Ansouis? ...and just as I was thinking about it, I turned on YT on my TV and what I saw - there was Ansouis! Thanks Pierre
